Abstract
本发明提供一种导光组件,其包括一导光板及一光源,所述导光板包括一显示屏导光区及一按键导光区,所述显示屏导光区开设一容置槽,所述光源装配于容置槽内,所述按键导光区与显示屏导光区一体连接,所述导光组件工作时,所述光源发出的光线通过显示屏导光区而进入按键导光区,所述按键导光区上设置若干光学网点,以通过光线反射和折射增强按键导光区的亮度。所述导光组件光源使用数量少,设计成本低。
Description
技术领域
本发明是关于一种导光组件,尤其涉及一种应用于便携式电子装置的导光组件。
背景技术
在移动电话等便携式电子装置中,液晶显示屏(Liquid CrystalDisplay,LCD)和按键大都靠各自的光源提供背光。例如,液晶显示屏的背光模组需要在导光板一侧设置发光二极管(light-emittingdiode,LED)作为光源,而按键的背光也需要在导光板一侧设置多个LED。显然,此种结构需要较多的LED光源,增加了成本,同时也不利于便携式电子装置小型化的发展。
发明内容
鉴于上述内容,有必要提供一种可减少光源使用量的导光组件。
一种导光组件,其包括一导光板及一光源,所述导光板包括一显示屏导光区及一按键导光区,所述显示屏导光区开设一容置槽,所述光源装配于容置槽内,所述按键导光区与显示屏导光区一体连接,所述导光组件工作时,所述光源发出的光线通过显示屏导光区而进入按键导光区,所述按键导光区上设置若干光学网点,以通过光线反射和折射增强按键导光区的亮度。
与现有技术相比,由于所述液晶显示屏和按键共用一导光板,使得光源可通过导光板将光线从显示屏导光区导向按键导光区,而同时为液晶显示屏和按键提供背光,以此有效地较少了光源的使用量,降低了设计成本。

具体实施方式
本发明较佳实施例的导光组件用于为移动电话、个人数位助理(Personal Digital Assistant,PDA)等便携式电子装置的液晶显示屏和按键提供背光。
请参阅图1,该导光组件100包括一导光板10、一光源20、一柔性线路板30及一薄膜40。该薄膜40贴附在该导光板10的一侧,该光源20设置在该柔性线路板30上,并用来照射该导光板10。
请结合参阅图2及图3,该导光板10可由聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(Polymethyl methacrylate,PMMA,俗称有机玻璃或亚克力)或聚碳酸酯(Polycarbonate,PC)等可透光材质制成。该导光板10一端设置一边框122,以将该导光板10分为一体连接的一显示屏导光区12及一按键导光区16。该边框122围成一容置空间123,用以收容并定位液晶显示屏。在本实施例中,该边框122的材料与导光板10的材料相同。
该显示屏导光区12用以为便携式电子装置的液晶显示屏提供背光。该显示屏导光区12相邻边框122的一角开设一容置槽124,用以装配光源20。请结合参阅图4,该容置槽124包括一侧壁126,该侧壁126上凸设呈锯齿状排布的若干凸起128,每一凸起128均呈半圆柱形,以将光源20发出的光线通过折射在导光板10内传播,进而到达光线均匀化的效果。
该按键导光区16用以为便携式电子装置的按键提供背光。该按键导光区16包括相对设置的一第一表面162及一第二表面164。该按键导光区16上开设有若干按键孔166,该按键孔166的位置与所需要照射的按键相对应,当光源20发出的光线传播到按键孔166时,可照亮对应的按键。该第一表面162上可通过网版印刷或射出成型等方式设置若干光学网点168。在本实施例中,所述光学网点168均为凸起,其由二氧化钛或硫酸钡等具有高反射率且不吸光的材料制成,以使经过该光学网点168的光线尽量朝第二表面164反射或折射,确保更多的光线从第二表面164射出,增强该按键导光区16的亮度。其中,光学网点168在第一表面162的分布可依据实际状况设计,例如,在第一表面162的距离光源20较远处分布有较多数量的光学网点168,反之,在距离光源20较近处分布有较少数量的光学网点168。
请再参阅图4,在本实施例中,该光源20为一LED光源。当该光源20装设于容置槽124时,其与侧壁126上的凸起128相对。
该柔性线路板30设于导光板10的显示屏导光区12的一侧,并与光源20电性连接,以为光源20提供电信号。
该薄膜40贴附于按键导光区16的第二表面164上。在本实施例中,该薄膜40为一扩散膜,其采用PC、聚苯乙烯(Polystyrene,PS)及苯乙烯-甲基丙烯酸甲酯(Methyl methacrylate-styrene,MS)混合制成,该薄膜40利用其组成材料的折射率的差异,达到散射光线的目的,进而使从按键孔166射出的光线分布得更为均匀,并使光线亮度较为缓和。
当该导光组件100工作时,光源20发出的光线经过容置槽124侧壁126上的凸起128折射后,进入导光板10。此时一部分光线进入显示屏导光区12以为液晶显示屏提供光源背光作用;另一部分光线进入按键导光区16,并经第一表面162上的光学网点168尽量朝第二表面164反射和折射,进而经过薄膜40散射出均匀的光线。
可以理解,本发明的边框122也可由橡胶等不透明材料制成,并通过双色成型与导光板10一体设置。如此,光源20发出的光线将不会通过边框122射出,以更有效的利用光源。
可以理解,本发明的凸起128和光学网点168的形状均不限于实施例所述,二者均可为其他形状(如凸起128为棱柱形,光学网点168为半球形的凹陷),只要使光线按一定路径发生反射或折射即可。
可以理解,本发明的的凸起128不局限设置于侧壁126上,其可依据不同光源20的形状设置,如凸起128可设置于容置槽124的其他侧壁上。
本发明导光组件100的液晶显示屏和按键共用一导光板10,以将液晶显示屏的光源20的光线通过导光板10导到按键导光区16,以作为按键光源,从而节省了在按键导光板上装设背光光源,有效地降低了设计成本。同时通过在导光板10的按键导光区16上设置光学网点168和薄膜40,使光线分布的更均匀。
Claims (9)
1.一种导光组件,其包括一导光板及一光源,其特征在于:所述导光板包括一显示屏导光区及一按键导光区,所述显示屏导光区开设一容置槽,所述光源装配于容置槽内,所述按键导光区与显示屏导光区一体连接,所述导光组件工作时,所述光源发出的光线通过显示屏导光区而进入按键导光区,所述按键导光区上设置若干光学网点,以通过光线反射和折射增强按键导光区的亮度。
2.如权利要求1所述的导光组件,其特征在于:所述导光组件包括一薄膜,所述薄膜为一扩散膜,其贴附于按键导光区,并与光学网点相对设置。
3.如权利要求1所述的导光组件,其特征在于:所述容置槽包括一侧壁,所述侧壁上凸设若干凸起,所述光源与凸起相对设置。
4.如权利要求3所述的导光组件,其特征在于:所述若干凸起呈锯齿状排布,每一所述凸起呈半圆柱形。
5.如权利要求1所述的导光组件,其特征在于:所述远离光源的光学网点的数量多于靠近光源的光学网点的数量。
6.如权利要求1所述的导光组件,其特征在于:所述光学网点由高反射率且不吸光材料制成。
7.如权利要求1所述的导光组件,其特征在于:所述光学网点通过网版印刷或射出成型形成。
8.如权利要求1所述的导光组件,其特征在于:所述导光板上设置一边框,所述边框与导光板一体设置,所述边框围成一容置空间,用以收容液晶显示屏。
9.如权利要求1所述的导光组件,其特征在于:所述光源为一发光二极管。
