Abstract
The invention discloses a system and a method for realizing merchandise information searching by using a terminal to acquire images. A user terminal picks up an image of a needed merchandise, performs image recognition and/or image matching on the picked up image of the merchandise, determines the merchandise needed by a user, acquires corresponding merchandise information according to the determined merchandise and provides the acquired corresponding merchandise information for the user. By adoption of the invention, the information of the merchandise needed by the user can be conveniently and fast found out and provided for the user.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to an information search technology in electronic commerce, in particular to a system and a method for realizing commodity information search by acquiring images by a terminal.
Background
Electronic commerce is one of the most rapidly developing fields in the internet at present, and the electronic commerce generally refers to a novel business operation mode in which, in wide commercial and trade activities all over the world, buyers and sellers who perform trade activities can perform various trade activities without seeing each other in an internet environment in which the internet is open, and online shopping of consumers, online transactions between merchants, online electronic payments, various business activities, transaction activities, financial activities, and related comprehensive service activities are realized.
In the prior art, a general online shopping and transaction process is as follows: a user inputs the name of a required commodity through a browser at a terminal, and a search engine searches information of related commodities in a network according to the input commodity name; after the commodity information is found, the commodity information is displayed to a user, and the user determines whether to purchase the corresponding commodity according to the found commodity information such as commodity price, commodity introduction, merchant information and the like; after the determination, the purchase is selected and the payment is made in a designated payment mode. Although this method is convenient and common, if a user wants to select an economical and cost-effective product, the user needs to log in to websites of different merchants to check and compare, and select a product with proper quality and price for purchase, so that a lot of time and effort are consumed by the user, and the product with the most favorable price is not necessarily selected.
In order to solve the above problems, a method of photographing a barcode of a commodity by using a mobile phone terminal, and then identifying the commodity and performing an intelligent search by identifying the barcode is proposed. Although the realization mode can enable a user to conveniently and easily select a satisfactory commodity with high cost performance, the method is only suitable for the commodity with the bar code and cannot cover the commodity without the bar code because the commodity bar code is shot; also, it cannot be dealt with when the merchant intentionally hides the barcode of the commodity.

In view of the above, the main objective of the present invention is to provide a system and a method for searching commodity information by using a terminal to obtain an image, which can conveniently and quickly search commodity information required by a user and provide the commodity information to the user.

In the invention, the user terminal shoots the image of the whole commodity, so the application range is wider, and the use is more convenient and flexible; in addition, the identification, matching and processing of the image can adopt the existing algorithm and technology, and the realization is simple and convenient. Detailed Description
The basic idea of the invention is: the user terminal shoots an image of a required commodity, the commodity required by the user is determined after the shot commodity image is subjected to image recognition and/or image matching, and corresponding commodity information is obtained according to the determined commodity and provided for the user.
The invention is realized on the basis that the commodity image shot by the user terminal is processed by utilizing the image processing, image recognition and image matching technologies to obtain the commodity which can be finally used for searching for matching. Wherein,
the image processing means: when an image is researched, firstly, preprocessing or preprocessing is carried out on obtained image information to filter interference and noise and finish geometric correction, color correction and the like, so that the signal-to-noise ratio can be improved. Sometimes, because the information is weak and cannot be identified, enhancement processing is needed to provide an image meeting certain requirements or transform the image to realize human-computer analysis. In the above system, the database needs to be updated in real time, and it is ensured that the latest commodity information or the commodity information most concerned by the user is stored in the database. Then, the updating is to keep the database at the terminal side synchronized with the database at the server side in time; the database on the server side is maintained and obtained with the latest commodity information in time. The term "maintenance" refers to acquiring the latest product information from each related site by a dedicated maintenance person and storing the latest product information in a database, or automatically capturing the latest product information of the related site by a computer.
In the system, the terminal may be a mobile phone.
In practical application, only image matching or image recognition can be carried out on the shot commodity image, and the image matching and the image recognition can also be carried out together; the matching and the identification of the images can be finished at the terminal side or the server side; that is, the image recognition module and the image matching module may be located on the terminal side or on the server side. the database 111 on the server side is used for storing various commodity information on the network side and providing synchronously updated commodity information for the database 105;
the database synchronization module 112 is configured to synchronize the commodity information in the database 111 to the database 105; here, there are various synchronization modes, and the synchronization can be periodically timed, and the period length can be set according to the requirement; synchronization may also be performed according to a terminal-side request.
As a specific example, an image acquisition module of the terminal takes an image of a mobile phone, the image is sent to an image recognition module for image recognition, and the image recognition module recognizes the received image to confirm that the commodity is a mobile phone, and then confirms that the taken commodity image is a most similar commodity classified as a mobile phone, and further, the brand and model of the mobile phone can be recognized according to the appearance, style, taken brand and model information and the like of the mobile phone; then, the relevant commodity information of the determined mobile phone or the mobile phone with the determined brand and model is searched in the database, and the commodity information of each merchant or website about the price, commodity introduction, merchant link address and the like of the mobile phone is stored in the database, so that the commodity information of the determined commodity can be obtained from the database and fed back to the terminal display module, and all the commodity information is displayed to the user.

If the matching and recognition of the images is done on the terminal side and only the server side contains a database, the method of the invention further comprises: the terminal side sends the identification image and/or the image to be matched to the server side, the server side determines the required commodity and returns the commodity information of the determined commodity.
If the matching and recognition of the images is done on the server side, the method further comprises: and the terminal side sends the shot commodity image to the server.

the image matching module is used for carrying out image matching on the shot commodity image, determining a commodity which is most similar to the shot commodity image in the database through matching, acquiring commodity information of the determined commodity from the database and outputting the commodity information to the terminal display module;
the database is used for storing various commodity information so as to be searched by the image recognition module and the image matching module and obtain the commodity information of the determined commodity;
and the terminal display module is used for providing the obtained commodity information for the user.
