Context and motivation

Our navigation is currently tied to the Vue component and router, where hooks are harder to insert for extenders.

We also have a mix of navigation. Sobre features are acessible via WordPress plugin submenu, other via the Vue Tainacan Admin. The submenu features are often less known.

Ideal Solution

A new server-side, customizable navigation sidemenu is being planned alongside #494 for the Version 1.0.0. Ideally, it should make usage of WordPress admin menus API.

This should include several refactoring for the way admin pages are organized and links. It shall open way for a non-fullscreen admin where WordPress links are more accessible and also provide space for new functionality such as:
