I've got a few ideas to make the playback speed dialog feel smoother and more user-friendly. Here's what I'm thinking:

1. When the dialog pops up, it'd be great to hide the video title and controls temporarily. That way, it cuts down on distractions and keeps the focus on adjusting the speed.

2. Taking some cues from YouTube's setup could give it a nicer polish. For instance:

   • Reduce the dialog's overall height to make it more compact and less intrusive.
   • Move it toward the bottom of the screen for easier access, especially on mobile devices where thumbs rule.
   • Swap the (+)plus and (-)minus buttons to simple circles instead of the current squircle design.
   • Thin out the slider bar a bit for a cleaner, more modern vibe.
   • Change the scrubber knob from its rectangular shape to a rounded dot, which would fit better visually.

3. The current max of 2x speed is solid for everyday use, but adding a 3x option would be a game-changer for some specific types of videos where you need to breeze through content faster, similar to what YouTube Premium offers.

These tweaks could really elevate the experience without overcomplicating things.
