To ensure consistency and transparency across all projects, I propose to create a global GOVERNANCE.md file. This document will outline our core principles, organizational structure, and guidelines for project responsibilities.

• Open Source
  • All projects are open source to foster community collaboration.
• Welcoming and Respectful
  • We are committed to a respectful environment. See our Code of Conduct.
• Transparent and Accessible
  • Work and collaboration occur publicly for transparency.

Organizational Structure

• Working Groups (WGs)
  • The EEF is organized into working groups responsible for specific projects.
  • Put in info on how to participate / join a WG.

Project Responsibilities

• Linking to Responsible WG
  • README Badge: Each project should display a badge linking to its responsible WG.
  • Repository Tag: Tag repositories with the appropriate WG.
  • Exception: Archived projects are exempt from this requirement.
