After a quite long time since the last stable release, I am now announcing that the next major version is now out as beta 🎉

Upgrade Instructions

yarn add react-awesome-reveal@next @emotion/react

Changes

The key changes are:

• React 18 support
• Reduced bundle size
• Better modularization

The API of the animated components is not changed, but there is a breaking change you must be aware of: @emotion/react, the CSS-in-JS library that react-awesome-reveal uses under the hood, is now a peer dependency, so it must be installed separately.

Testing

Please report any unexpected behaviour you may encounter by opening an issue. Keep in mind that, since it is a major release preview, some bugs may come out, so please do not use it in production yet!
