Frequently Asked Questions

Which versions of Windows are supported?

Win11Debloat works for both Windows 10 and Windows 11. However, some features may be limited to specific Windows versions.

What changes are included as part of the default mode?

On this page you can find a full list of all changes included in the default mode.

Can I undo changes made by Win11Debloat?

All of the changes made by Win11Debloat can easily be reverted and almost all of the apps can be reinstalled through the Microsoft Store. A full guide on how to revert changes can be found here.

Why do some settings say "managed by your organization"?

Unlike what the message may suggest, your machine/browser is not actually managed by any organization. This message shows up because Win11Debloat uses local machine policies to change certain settings in Windows and Microsoft Edge. Policies are normally used by organisations to change and lock certain settings, which is why the message shows up. We try to avoid using policies as much as possible, but for some settings it's the only way to apply the respective changes. If you wish, you can remove the message by reverting the changes made by the script.
