Yeah, I've been kinda off the radar on GitHub lately. Since finishing my Master's in July 2025, things have gone a bit quiet here, but only here! Outside of GitHub, I'm still working as an Automation Engineer at Sky NBCUniversal, part of the Web Release Team, testing streaming apps all over the world: checking KPIs, monitoring performance, spotting bugs, programming pipelines, designing tests, and giving the GO or No-GO on releases that reach millions of users. That kind of stuff. And of course, taking full advantage of watching movies and series for free!
Testing has honestly become the part of tech that fascinates me the most these days, it's also what makes me happiest right now, even though it can be stressful and demands a lot of responsibility. Don’t be surprised, I’m 23 and already have a lot of gray hairs. Some of them come from this job, and others are thanks to LC ("Laboratório de Computadores") course.
I'm not living in Porto anymore, but I still find myself dropping by FEUP more often than I probably should, strolling down corridor B, working in the library, and remembering those amazing five years I spent there. There's always something nostalgic about it. Who knows, maybe we'll bump into each other one day, and if that happens, I'm always up for a beer even during work hours! The release can wait :)
My GitHub and account will stay active, with all my projects, notes, and random experiments still around. This way, they won't drown too much. Good luck to the new brave souls taking on the course, you’ll need it :)
