Forget the noise of the world the games, the shows, the songs and just listen…

While you laugh, talk, and plan your tomorrow, there are people here who aren’t even sure they’ll live to see tomorrow. We don’t want pity. We just want to live like you.To wake up without fear. To study, to dream, to eat without counting every bite. If you believe that no one deserves to die simply for being born in the wrong place — then please, don’t stay silent.

Just do something that tells us we’re not forgotten… that humanity still beats somewhere out there.

I am a young woman from Gaza, living in Beita. All I want is a chance to live safely and achieve my dream — to study, to build my future, and to be something beautiful in this world. But every day here feels like a battle just to survive.

I’m not asking for much… just a little help to keep my hope alive.

"The great majority of Americans are suspended between these opposing attitudes. They are uneasy with injustice but unwilling yet to pay a significant price to eradicate it."

That's a line I just finished reading, from Martin Luther King Jr. In 1967. 1967!!! It's 2025. What are YOU willing to do to help eradicate injustice? Maybe helping a Gazan family in need will be what you do, today. Donate if you can, share if you will not.

Hind Rajab was a 5 year old girl in Gaza who was killed while she hid alone in a car, along with the paramedics who tried to rescue her. Yesterday students at Columbia seized the administration building and renamed it in her honor.

My name is Kareman… I’m a mother to a little boy named Hamoud. We try to survive day by day, but life has become unbearable. 🧅 Imagine this: half an onion being sold for $13, $14, even $15.

Yes… HALF an onion. Priced like gold. What kind of world are we living in? We need flour just to make bread. We need vegetables to cook a simple meal. We need the bare minimum so my child doesn’t go to sleep hungry again tonight. My son Hamoud looks at me with his innocent eyes and asks, “Mama, when will there be bread again?”💔

And I… I hold back tears. Because I don’t even have money for a bag of flour. 🙏 If you're reading this, and our story touches your heart — please help us, even just by sharing.

The genocide of Palestinians has been ongoing since the 1948 Nakba began. Genocide is not only an event of mass death, but mass disabling.

The Israeli military fired a phosphorus bomb in 2008, and a woman in a house nearby was exposed to these gasses through her pregnancy. When her son was born, he had already been harmed and disabled by the occupation.

Ahmad Aldany is this son. He lives with a lifelong health condition that effects his bones and teeth. This disability requires specialized healthcare, which is hard to afford in the best of times.

Two years ago, his home was completely destroyed, and his family was displaced, like so many other Palestinians, moving from place to place in search of safety. He witnessed horrific scenes no child should ever see: destruction, and constant fear.

Ahmed is now suffering from a very difficult psychological condition. He wakes up at night to the sound of explosions and screams at the top of his voice because he is afraid. The healthcare infrastructure was decimated, leaving him unable to receive the treatment he needs for his disability. Now, the famine has become so severe that he goes long days without eating.

I was introduced to Ahmed @ahmedaldani333 through our mutual friend Fadel @fadel-dani. Fadel has been worried about Ahmed, as they are both disabled, traumatized, and in need of urgent medical care.

Two days ago, on Eid al-Adha, Ahmed woke up to the sound of bullets and shells falling. His family fled, abandoning their tent with all their food, blankets, and pillows. They are traumatized, exhausted, starving, and in need of safety and health care.

Ahmed created a fundraiser (vetted by gazavetters #198) to try to travel with his family to a safe country where he can rebuild his life, continue his education, and build a better future for himself.

Ahmed has raised €4,152 so far, but he needs much more to be able to secure safety for his family and get the treatment he needs.

He needs visibility on his campaign. Please donate what you can, share this message, and if you can, offer to write him a post now and then to share his story with others.

💔💔A new large-scale military operation by the army in Gaza aims to displace 800,000 people.💔💔

From the midst of famine come orders to evacuate.

Desperate girl cares for her brother who was shot in the head

I don't have money and we can't walk long distances because of extreme hunger.😭😭

We need hearts that feel for us and generous hands that support us with some money 🙏🙏

A very difficult night, we almost died 😭😭

Vetted by @gazavetters , my number verified on the list is (#550) ✓

please don't scroll past this post without reading about @ahmedgazza3 's campaign:

imagine being only 20 years old, at the start of your adult life, but before you can make your dreams come true your city is bombarded and your family is forced to evacuate and now lives in a tent. this is what Ahmed has had to face, and now that Gaza is under siege again in the holy month of Ramadan he and his family are in danger once more.

we can't allow this to continue.

please donate what you can and support this campaign by sharing it, which costs you nothing!

Jamaica has never experienced a hurricane this strong, and the immediate and lasting impacts on the island and in the surrounding region have been reported as catastrophic by numerous outlets.

The UN World Meteorological Organization has described Hurricane Melissa as "the storm of the century". The estimated storm surge of up to 13 feet (4 meters) and rainfall up to 40 inches (100 cm) will cause catastrophic flash flooding and landslides.

Over 2 million people are currently in critical danger and need.

Here's a list of some organizations currently working to help the people of Jamaica in this urgent time of need. Please, if you're able to spare a few dollars, donate to one of the organizations below:

To stay updated on Hurricane Melissa and the status of the Jamaican community, BBC News and CNN Weather currently have live updates.

To learn how climate change made a direct impact on the intensity and severity of Hurricane Melissa, the non-profit group Climate Central has an article and live data going further into detail.

If you don't have the means to donate, please reblog and share to spread awareness. And, if you know of any other organizations or mutual aid funds please don't hesitate to add them! Thank you! 🇯🇲

Tonight, while the streets glow with laughter and masks, one small soul lies in the dark — no costume, no candy, just pain. 🎃💔

He was found trembling by the road, his head swollen from infection, barely able to lift his eyes.

The vet said it’s spreading fast. He needs treatment now — or this might be his last Halloween.

It’s strange how we can decorate for ghosts… while a real life fades quietly, unseen.

I couldn’t scroll past. I donated. Maybe you can be the reason he wakes up tomorrow.

I, Noor like many people in Gaza suffer from symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

These symptoms usually appear after going through extremely terrifying or painful experiences such as war, losing loved ones, or witnessing unbearable scenes of destruction and suffering.

◾Some of the symptoms we live with every day include:

▪️Difficulty sleeping or sudden awakenings.

▪️Extreme irritability or bursts of anger.

▪️Trouble concentrating.

▪️Fear or being easily startled.

▪️A constant feeling of tension or danger.

▪️Persistent feelings of guilt, shame, or self-blame.

▪️Loss of interest in things that once mattered to us.

▪️A sense of detachment or disconnection from others.

▪️A pessimistic outlook on life feeling like we may never feel safe again.

So, when you speak to someone from Gaza, please be kind, gentle, and respectful.

Don’t judge us or make assumptions about our lives we are fighting every single day just to survive despite all the pain.

Sometimes, the simplest act of kindness can restore a bit of the safety we’ve lost and give us hope to stand up once more.

"She's been in front of my eyes for 15 years."

Farah is a fifteen-year-old autistic girl with kidney disease. Due to Israel's hostilities in Gaza, she has not been able to receive the medication that she needs for over a year. Because of this, her situation has deteriorated significantly recently, and she has been in the hospital. Due to hypokalaemia she suffers from muscle weakness, currently in her leg, but it can also affect the heart muscle. Cardiac arrest is a real risk for people with Farah's condition.

Farah's mother Wesal (@shahdgazza) is very scared that she will lose her daughter. She knows that kidney disease is a chronic and permanent condition, and that any deterioration to Farah's health is extremely dangerous and will make her life more difficult. We talk about her fears a lot, because it is continuously on her mind. She is fighting tooth and nail to save her daughter.

The other day, she said, "I fear losing her every second. It's not easy." And then she said something that is so simple, so matter-of-factly, but also so profound -

"She's been in front of my eyes for 15 years."

Maybe it is a result of the language barrier or the fact that we can only talk to each other thanks to online translation services. But when she said this phrase, it made me tear up because of how heartfelt and raw its meaning was.

She's been in front of my eyes for 15 years.

Think about that. This sentence doesn't just state a fact. It's about being a parent. About the responsibility, the love, the care, the worries, the fears that come with being a parent.

It's about the permanence of a child's life in that of their caregiver.

Wesal cannot lose her daughter. Please help me in making this a reality by donating a little, if you are able, and sharing this post. If we can collect enough money, Wesal will be able to purchase the medication that Farah desperately needs.

Please direct your donations here:

[EDIT/ Was able to create a chuffed fundraiser too:]

For verification, please see here. They are vetted by association, as is explained in the link. We are working on getting them vetted by gazavetters.

[EDIT/ Fantastic news, this campaign is now verified by gazavetters! You will find it as #451 on their spreadsheet. Thank you so much!!!]

Thank you so much for donating (if you are able), and for sharing this post.

"I want to say to everyone who has mercy in his heart, take action for Farah. What are you waiting for? She is an innocent child who does not speak, but her tears are more honest than all words."

This is what Wesal, Farah's mother, told me to tell you all about her fifteen-year-old daughter Farah, a fifteen-year-old autistic girl with chronic kidney failure.

Her kidneys leak potassium, for which she hasn't been properly medicated for over a year. Farah needs to take two pils 3x/day, but because her parents cannot afford to buy more, her mother can only give her one per day now.

The longer this goes on, the worse Farah's health will get, until her heart gives out. Cardiac arrest is a very possible and extremely serious complication of severe potassium deficiency, which is what Farah is suffering from now.

So you can understand how scared Wesal is that she will lose her daughter.

Farah needs our help!

Please, if you are able, even if it's just a little, donate to the fundraiser I created for Farah here or via Paypal here. We have only raised €15 and €96 respectively, which is only half of what is needed to buy a month's worth of medication for Farah.

For verification, please see here. They are vetted by association, as is explained in the link. We are working on getting them vetted by gazavetters, but as you probably all know, this takes time.

In a tweet that garnered massive resonance in Japan, Ms. Mika wrote:

"Returning unidentified bodies found inside bags, and these are bodies of people whose hands and feet were bound, bearing burn marks, crushed by tanks, showing signs of torture, with their bones broken... etc."

If these were not Palestinians, this incident would have become a huge scandal and a major issue on a global level.

In this incident, the disregard for the value of human life and its dignity is clearly manifested, along with the inhumane perspective that justifies neglect and marginalization.

After all the brutality we’ve witnessed, from tortured bodies to a public proposal to burn victims, we feel powerless in the face of the world’s silence. Gaza is no longer a place to live—it’s a prison for children who chose nothing. My four children face fear, hunger, and sorrow every day, and all we dream of is giving them the chance to play, sleep safely, and learn like any other child in the world. Supporting our campaign is not a luxury—it’s their right to life. Every share, every donation, is a step toward leaving this hell and giving our children the future they deserve.
