I'm drowning in debt and urgently need help!!
Thursday, November 6th: Hello, everyone. I’m Gem, a bi, mentally ill, and multiple disabled woman in desperate need of help, as I'm struggling to pay my bills this month!!
I apologise for asking for help again. As most of you know from my previous posts, I have been struggling to make ends meet while on welfare. And due to my outstanding bills and ever-increasing debt, it has been difficult for me to get by. These past few months have been absolute hell, and with no other income, I've been relying on the kindness of others to get by.
However, I desperately need that kindness again, as I wasn't able to pay my bills last month, because I was behind on my rent, and I'm struggling quite a lot to pay them now. I owe a total of £145.76 in bill payments and fees, which is due next Monday (10th). However, I won't receive my welfare payment again until November 28th.
Again, I know this is a lot to ask, but if anyone could spare any amount to help me, even if it’s just £1/$1/€1, it would mean a lot, and sharing helps just as much.
Thank you ❤️
£30/£146!!

I need you to stop what you’re doing. Stop playing your game, stop reading your book, stop listening to your music. I need you, all of you, please, to go and help palestinians. Right now and in the future. I need you to help them because they need our help, our help to survive the horrible conditions created by israel.
Please, do something for those who need it, today.
My friend Zeina has had, very understandably, a hard few years. She’s had to battle things hardly any of us have even come close to dealing with. Bombs, bullets, the destruction of her home, a famine — she has had to brave them all, and has lived through them all. I ask you to please, please, help her.
Zeina and her family have been through so much please keep helping them in whatever way you can ❤️
Over three hundred writers, scholars, and public figures are refusing to publish in the Opinions section of the The New York Times in solidarity with Palestinians.
The boycott statement includes discussion of the Times material ties to the Israeli occupation and to the Israel lobby in the US, the purging of Arab and Muslim employees from staff, and the publication of "outright lies from Israeli officials while withholding or amending coverage at the behest of the Israeli consulate and pro-Israel lobby groups."
The Times relies on the Opinion section to maintain its reputation. They recruit respected subject matter experts to provide freelance labor as guest essayists, while framing their work as a matter of debate in the Opinion section. Meanwhile the claims of Israeli officials are elevated to "News."
As described in the Death Panel Podcast interview ( No Opinion w/ Lara Sheehi & Sophie Lewis - 11/06/25), the Times uses its Opinions section to launder its reputation as a Zionist propaganda outlet:
This is exactly the way this apparatus has been designed. The idea that, "we’re liberals, we have a dinner party approach to truth and fascism. You are very much welcome to say that the Zionist entity is a genocidal monstrosity, but you will say so in the Opinions section." While everything about the building that this "dinner party" is taking place in, metaphorically speaking, is materially, overwhelmingly invested in the continuance of Palestinian elimination.
We must not allow any illusions that the Times is unique in its commitment to Zionism. Of course all the mainstream US publications are. However, like other boycotts in solidarity with Palestine, the point is to choose a target and sustain it indefinitely and completely, so not only are they forced to comply with demands, but all other similar organizations fear being the next target if they do not change too.
Don't Read The Times, Read This
My friend Mahrah (@mahrahpalestine) is in Gaza right now with her family. My wife and I are in a group chat on Signal with her and her brother, Mahmoud, who is in Egypt.
When the ceasefire was announced, they hoped they could be reunited. But Israel and the United States always break their promises to Indigenous people. The occupation is controlling the movement of people and aid, keeping everyone in Gaza in a constant state of fear and famine as bombings continue.
Their family's fundraising has been vetted by @90-ghost and shared by fairuzfan. My wife, @cannilyuncanny, is personally hosting their GoFundMe campaign and is continuing to send transfers of donations. She sent another transfer just this morning. I can promise you that these funds are making it to Mahrah's family in Gaza. They are using these donations to get food, water, and supplies.
Please continue to support them. This is a life sustaining effort, and we need your help.
Hi! I wanted to showcase my friend Nader's campaign. He's a Palestinian in danger because of the occupation and survival resources have been extremely hard to secure.
I've been talking with him for months and he's a genuinely extremely sweet, extremely funny guy who wants to see the world someday and is trapped in a hellish situation. Anything you can do for him would mean the world for me.
Friends, we've been suffering for two years in hellish conditions. Everything is scarce and difficult to obtain, and there's no semblance of life here. We're trying to stay safe until the crossings open and we can leave, but everything is incredibly expensive. At least 300 euros a day is needed to survive here. So please don't ignore us. We're a large family and we need your support. Please, please, please donate to us. I won't say much more; you're all kind, and thank you for your continued support. Please donate.
Nader's family has been vetted; they're #4 on the @gazavetters spreadsheet!
Nader needs help. Please stand by him and don't stop talking about him, helping him, and donating to him. They need our support. Please, please donate to him now. Every little helps. If any of you have 100 euros or more, please donate now. Even 10 euros helps. Please donate.
Nader needs to be well, and we must help him. Please, if you are able, donate whatever you can so that Nader and his family can live a healthy life. Please donate.
Please, friends, help us and donate. We want to continue our lives without fear and without losing loved ones. I want to finish my studies and I want to live. Please donate to us now.
please help nader if you at all can!
Nader still needs help, if you're able to spare anything please don't hesitate to!
Every morning after what they call a ceasefire, our days in Gaza begin with the same painful scene…
Little children carrying jerrycans instead of school bags, standing under the burning sun just to fill a bit of water.
Their bare feet walk on muddy ground, and their eyes search for a normal life they’ve never known.
This isn’t a passing moment it’s our daily reality after the war.
We live without enough water, without electricity, without a home just trying to hold on to hope.
They say the war is over, but it hasn’t ended inside our hearts or on the faces of our children who never knew what childhood feels like.
Donate or share our campaign every share, every bit of support, is a step toward safety and a life with dignity.
Please, stop whatever you're doing right now. Stop playing games, watching movies, following matches, or listening to music... Leave everything else for just one minute, and sit with yourself and ask yourself honestly: Did we deserve to die? Do we deserve to live this way? Do you think this is fair?
Are you happy that the war is over? It's as if you're happy that a tragic incident ended, while the bodies are still there, the wounded are untreated, and the destruction remains untouched.
This is us now. We've been left like a crime scene after everyone has left, with the wounds open and the devastation untouched. We're still here, trying to survive. If your answer is "no," if you still see us as human beings, then do something.
I implore everyone who sees this message to share it so it reaches everyone who can contribute by donating to the affected families in Gaza. I don't want you to think about it; I want you to start with me with sincere intentions.

Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor:
Israel is killing an average of 10 Palestinians and injuring more than 28 others daily since the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, continuing its genocide at a less publicized pace.
If you think the genocide is over, that's a lie. The genocide hasn't ended; only the media hype has.
I hope you will take a minute and read this post because it is extremely important.
Today I reveal to you one of the many horrific and difficult things we have experienced in the Gaza Strip. Lawyer and human rights monitor Abdullah Sharshara wrote: "In an area near the former Netzarim crossing, there is a deep sewage well, estimated to be at least ten meters deep, containing a number of unidentified bodies, some of them decomposed, some reduced to skeletons. It is impossible to determine their identities because of the bodies inside the well. Local accounts vary, ranging from the possibility that the bodies belong to people executed by the occupation forces, to that they are aid seekers who were sneaking into the area at night and may have fallen into the well due to the lack of light.
The story of this well remains one of the testaments to the tragedy and horror of the genocide that a large segment of the population has endured, which has not been documented. It is also a prime example of how the world does not care about the lives of people here, nor does it treat them as equals." We are going through the worst days of our lives here. My house is destroyed, and we are living in a tattered tent. We have no work and no source of income. I am caring for the daughter of my martyred friend.
My Campaign vetted by @gazavetters in line (#681)
Maryam is ill and currently hospitalized. She needs your help.!!
The last few days have been very difficult for her. Maryam is suffering from intestinal inflammation, and the pain is constant. The treatment is more expensive than we can afford. Maryam is still in the hospital bed and needs to purchase medication and receive medical care. Maryam desperately needs your help and donations. Please stand by her; you are our only hope to alleviate her suffering. Every little bit of help makes a difference. Maryam is suffering in silence, and the treatment is beyond her means.
