Alates (male and female reproductives) have wings. The queens shed their wings after they mate. The males die. The daughter workers do not have wings. If you see an ant without wings, it’s a she.

And honestly—why bother panicking about things being called “she”? It’s not like I need a reason to gender a bug. I do it all the time. It’s fun. It’s humanizing. They don’t care.

yes that is how they move and theres various kinds of paso finos! theres the puerto rican paso fino (where they originated by cross breeding iberian breeds from spanish settlers), the colombian (criollo), the cuban paso fino, and the trocha!

they can exhibit two additional gaits the "paso fino" "paso corto" and the "paso largo" which is much more extented

i used to ride them before we moved out of PR so im especially fond of them! theyre very good mounts for just about any terrain the stables i used to ride at were on a mountainside so they were pretty confident going over steep terrain

okay so looking at the previous note game, ive decided to add 1 more thing (for now)

If this post and specifically this post, gets to 5000 notes, ill pick up my guitar again, try to learn how to play it, and pursue my dream of music. But only if this post can get to 5000 notes. (Which im hoping it doesn't happen because im stubborn and lazy)

Edit: I really don't know... i just feel like, if im ever given any support or positive feedback towards anything it helps me get better at not being a procrastinator, or lazy. Ever since 2024 everything has just been so dull and gloomy. And every time I think of something that used to make me happy, it doesn't anymore. But ive noticed recently that when I do the things I used to enjoy and people give me positive or out going support and feedback, it gives me another reason to keep on pushing on. It gives me another reason to live this life I was given, and a life that I clearly dont deserve. Im sorry if this is coming off corny or whatever, but its just how ive been feeling? Hhhh this turned into more of a vent srry guys
