>Character who's gender is ambiguous is introduced
>Every time they are mentioned or referred to they only have they/them pronouns used for them
>Look into fandom
>People automatically he/him them
Look I know reading is a hard thing to do at times but when you see they/them pronouns used on a character over and over again maybe this may indicate they do in fact use they/them pronouns. Just a hunch though idk
It's actually baffling too like does a character need to quite literally pause everything to go "Hey my pronouns are they/them btw" every so often in order to drill it into people's heads that they do not use he/she pronouns? Is it not possible to just pick up on the fact that they're only ever referred to with they/them pronouns? It should be basic reading comprehension to see that and recognize that they use they/them pronouns, really
It's also goofy when, again, the characters are gender ambiguous and people go "Well they present as masculine/feminine so how was I supposed to know they were non-binary???" and the design in question is like a triangle with googly eyes glued on
"do it scared" is valuable advice but it'd also be SIIIICK and AWESOME if it stopped being scary at some point. any point
Last night I listened to a podcast called Everything Is Alive which is a fictitious interview show where the host speaks to inanimate objects, episode one was about an off brand can of cola named Louis. Spoilers: it ends with the host offering to drink him and he agrees. I have no other way to put this, that was the most sexually charged audio I've ever heard. Borderline gay sex. I just needed to say this to fucking someone somewhere because this is such an obscure fucking thing but it's been haunting me
I'm not objectum but I do think y'all under that umbrella would go crazy for this btw. Like I'm shocked this isn't brought up more as famous objectum media alongside fuckin Electric Dreams or Herbie or something
I never see a whole family driving in a cyber truck. It’s always one man all alone.
Shoutout to one year ago today when I started a game of We Love Katamari on what turned out to be the funniest day possible
your dashboard is supposed to be at LEAST halfway full of shit you have no context for and fandoms you're not involved in. it is the natural way of the universe
I think about Ninjini’s curse all the time bro bc like, she broke free from the confinement of the bottle, but her magic and physical form are still changed so she clearly didn’t break the entire curse. Can she? I know she keeps the bottle with her as a reminder of what she can overcome but how connected to her bottle is she still? She can enter and exit out of it as she pleases (I can’t imagine how long it took her to find that out) like, idk, am I making sense?? You guys understand where I’m coming from, right???
Sometimes a creative outlet is a fun little hobby and sometimes it's a lifelong affliction. Like I crochet because making little woven animals sparks joy and I'm a writer whether I like it or not because I'm tormented by visions
Me crocheting: I made a duck ! ^_^
Me writing: pacing around talking to myself compelled by forces beyond my comprehension
