Whatever you do don’t think about the fact that Andromeda can never get away from the face of the woman that murdered her daughter. Every time she looks in the mirror she will she Bellatrix’s face. Her sister, her first heartbreak, the same woman that once fiercely protected her ended up being the one to take everything away from her.
They don't look identical. They're not twins. They looked similar, yes, but different enough that it became obvious when Andromeda came closer that their resemblance wasn't that remarkable. Perspective can alter appearances, especially if you're anxious, and have a bad eyesight like Harry. He was also disorientated from the fall when he saw her and his mind always looks for Bellatrix everywhere.

I know that they weren’t identical. However, they are similar enough where, imo at the very least, andromeda was surely haunted by that similarity at some points
Guys, just because the Blacks were this ultra-conservative, obsessed-with-blood-purity uptight family doesn’t mean they abused their kids. I mean, there’s NOTHING suggesting that the Black sisters were physically or mentally abused by their parents, and there’s NOTHING hinting anywhere that Sirius or Regulus were either. Even less so Regulus, who, in Sirius’s own words, was his mother’s favorite. I really don’t get why some people feel the need to give everyone a background of family abuse, but please, can we leave dysfunctional families alone? Your parents don’t have to hit you for a family to be dysfunctional. I know you’re 14 and your brain probably can’t process this yet, but seriously, enough, you’re ruining the whole family dynamic with those shitty headcanons.
I feel like making the black cousins abused just strips them of their complexity when it comes to their relationships with each other. ESPECIALLY when it comes to Sirius and Walburga. I always get so annoyed when I see people trying to say that she used the cruciatus curse on her sons

You want to know something else? Sirius and Bellatrix weren’t fighting, they were playing.
Their fight went on the longest out of everyone. They were laughing and joking with each other. Sirius’ last words were teasing Bellatrix saying “come on you can do better than that”.
For everyone else it was a battle, for Bellatrix and Sirius it was a game just like when they were younger
james and sirius and they sleep in the same bed and sit in the same chair and eat from the same plate and they always joke about how they'll end up living in the same house because all the girls are tired of them but no one notices how sirius' gaze always falls on how james reacts to it and his laughter is weak and quiet because no one knows he's dreamt of it before he knew it was wrong
