Stop for a moment and read with your mind and heart. Death has not ended in Gaza. We still face death in its various forms here. We could die from a stray bullet fired by Israeli war machines from the positions the army recently withdrew to during the ceasefire, positions only a few hundred meters from where I pitched my tent.

Another form of death, following the destruction of homes near my neighborhood, is the possibility of being killed by an unexploded ordnance.

I also fear for my children as they play among the rubble of destroyed houses, fearing objects deliberately left behind by the occupation forces, disguised as food cans, but containing explosives that will detonate and kill anyone who touches them.
