Wanted to try my hand at drawing my WoFsonas + introduce them to y’all!!

Daydreamer is a NightWing with weak prophetic abilities and an overactive imagination. He’s a sort of in-world guide to my headcanons and stories. He’s also the mascot of this blog! Right now, I like to think he lives in Unity, the setting of my WoF AU. Otherwise he travels around Pyrrhia and I put him wherever is relevant. Oakworm is my “truesona,” a SilkWing based on the pink-striped oakworm moth who studies dye plants to make his weavings with. I’m in a class about botanical dyes right now, and I study environmental science! I chose a SilkWing because if I could make my own yarn I’d never have to buy yarn again, which would be awesome. I considered a HiveWing for myself but the allure of free yarn was too strong. Also, I’m a fuzzy SilkWing believer, and I have really fluffy hair IRL, so it just seemed fitting.

Working on my IceWing headcanons rn and I’ll be so honest. I think they were created by magic. I don’t have any other explanation for how they work or what they do. I genuinely believe the Great Ice Dragon was some scorching-era animus who willed the tribe into existence and reshaped the northern region of Pyrrhia into a polar landscape because how the fuck else is The Actual Arctic Circle left of the Rockies and directly above a desert

YES!!! Official depictions of dragons holding things with their wings! I don’t think it was ever described in the books, but I always headcanoned them carrying things with their wing fingers while walking, so they don’t have to hobble around on three legs when they have perfectly functional gripping digits on their wings.
