When he tries to turn his ire on Remus, Remus knows exactly what Regulus needs and proceeds to take him apart piece by piece.

Regulus really did know exactly which buttons of Remus’ to press to get the treatment he wanted.

The bruises and biting and rough handling that Remus gave Regulus because he liked it.

He knew he could’ve stopped, apologized, and requested what he wanted as soon as the floo went dark, but instead he repeatedly doubled down on his behavior.

And for that, Remus wasn’t about to give him what he wanted.

“Figures. You always seem to need the attitude fucked out of you when you have a bad day, but I think I want to do something different tonight,” Remus mused, lips twitching upwards a bit as confusion crossed Regulus’ face.
