Give what you can to keep Gaza’s mutual aid network strong and life-saving.
Dahnoun now runs on a smaller scale, but with greater impact. We are still fully volunteer-run with 100% of donations going directly to Gaza. Our team is made up of remote volunteers and dedicated volunteers on the ground within our community networks inside Gaza—who verify families and transfer funds securely. Instead of monthly meal distributions and other large scale distribution efforts, our main priority now is direct support to families. Through Bank of Palestine accounts or PalPay (a digital wallet widely used in Gaza), we are able to transfer funds quickly and transparently directly to vetted families. This allows families to make their own decisions—whether that means purchasing a tent, food, medicine, etc, or covering transportation, rent, and other living expenses.
