Q: The product claims plastic free, 100% plant based cloth yet the material listed for the cloth is polypropylene, which is a huge contradiction. What are these made of?
A: Since this question, the label info has been modified. I'm not sure if this was an original typo, but the information listed for this product did say polypropylene cloth.
submitted byColorado - 6 months agoA: We're very sorry for the confusion. If you look under "label info" under the product listing, you should be able to see a full list of ingredients.

Q: Are these compostable?
A: Thanks for your question, Emma. No, our Free & Gentle wipes are not compostable. Our baby wipes should be disposed of within your household waste bin, and they are not designed to be flushable.

Q: How can these cloths be plant based if the material listed for the cloth is polypropylene
A: Great question! The foundation of a Pampers Baby Wipe is a fiber-blend material specifically chosen for its softness and flexibility. Made from modified cellulose and polypropylene, each fiber adds a unique property to generate a cloth-like feel. Modified cellulose is used to maximize cleaning and absorption, while polypropylene is added for extra softness and flexibility.

All of the ingredients used in our wipes lotion are typically found in other skin care products or cosmetics, and they have a long history of safe use on all skin types.

Q: What’s the difference between these and the aquapure wipes?
A: The key difference between the Aqua Pure and Free & Gentle Wipes is how the wipes feel. Aqua Pure wipes are designed with a watery feel from the wipe, having only essential ingredients and the highest water concentration possible. The Free & Gentle wipes are 100% plant-based, plastic-free, and our thickest wipe, which provides a more grippy clean with a gentle dot texture.

Q: Can these be used with a wipe warmer?
A: Great question! No, we don't recommend using a warmer for baby wipes. Using a wipe warmer may cause wipes to dry out.

A: Yes, our Free & Gentle Wipes are always gentle enough for hands, faces, and bottoms.
