Head of Partnerships and Business Development
Justin Osofsky is Meta’s Head of Partnerships and Business Development. In this role he is focused on growing revenue and engagement by connecting Meta’s products with key strategic partners across all industries. This includes companies and developers of all sizes using Meta’s products and platform to grow their businesses, and helping people discover the most interesting and relevant content across Meta’s apps through content and Creator partnerships.
Prior to this role, Justin was the Head of the SMB group where he led sales and operations focused on growing small and medium-sized businesses on Meta’s platforms. He also led, managed, and grew Meta’s content partnerships function.
He previously served as the Chief Operating Officer of Instagram, where he led operations and business development and was responsible for helping the app scale globally. During his time as COO, Instagram grew to over 2 billion monthly active users, and Reels developed from a pre-revenue product to one with a $3 billion annual revenue run rate across Instagram and Facebook.
While COO of Instagram, Justin was also Vice President of Global Operations at Meta. He worked in close partnership with the product and policy organizations with the goal of creating a safe community for people, businesses and developers. Prior to these roles, Justin led corporate development where he oversaw mergers and acquisitions and helped the company successfully integrate acquisitions and develop strategic opportunities across Meta technologies. Before that, he led the global media partnerships team.
Justin joined the company in 2008, and previously worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Harvard University, an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
