The Australian Institute of Comparative Legal Systems (AICLS) is a not for profit institution which organizes and runs conferences and conducts other activities in Australia and internationally aimed at the comparative study of legal systems and forms of jurisprudence.

It is an associated aim of AICLS to promote the study of comparative legal systems through the provision of support for scholarship in the field.

EPLC/Academy of European Public Law and AICLS Scholarships

AICLS is pleased to announce that Dr Chrystalla Yakinthou of Perth and Mr Evan Stamatiou of Melbourne, having successfully completed the first year of the European Academy of Public Law programme pursuant to the inaugural AICLS/EPLC Scholarships in 2007, have been  granted the AICLS/EPLC Scholarships for 2008 to complete the Academy's diploma in Public Law in September 2008 at the Academy's headquarteres in Legraina, Greece.
