For those wondering about the newsletter, I used the word “newsletter” because that’s what google translate always calls it. It’s this 30th anniversary fanbook that was organized last year. I haven’t heard anything about the project since January. I hope the organizer is ok. It was supposed to released by now.

Final Fantasy 6 Celebration 2025

UPDATE 6/16/25: I just received an amazing idea for Day 1 from one of my fanfic senpais (artificalowl) that perhaps Day 1 could be an Introduction day! Introducing ourselves, our history with the game, thoughts and such so we can meet new people and all that fun stuff~ (tagged with ff6celebration2025 of course ((if you want)) to keep things tidy lol)
Rules/FAQ:
- Anybody & everybody is welcome to join in the fun!
- An AO3 collection will be set up closer to October and will be linked here.
- Make whatever type of fanwork you want! Art, fanfiction, music, mood boards, gifs, etc. This is all about having fun and sharing your love of the game with fellow fans.
- Interpret the daily prompts however you like with whatever genre/rating/etc you want. Don’t like a day’s prompt? No problem! Mix and match and create to your heart’s content! The prompts are there to get the creative juices flowing so we can create fanworks for our beloved FF6.
- Tag/add ratings to your works accordingly please!
- Post your work anywhere, I’m not your mom lol. Tag ff6celebration2025 to get featured if you’d like! (And so fellow fans will be able to find your work!)
He’s cool
I got the “Revival Trance” MTGxFF commander deck, even though I have never played MTG in my life. The Final Fantasy crossover is already really awesome, but the fact that there’s an entire deck based only on FF6 is miraculous. I had to have it!
There are other FF6 cards that are not included in this set (like the Phantom Train and Suplex cards) so I’m hoping I can try and collect them.
