Pony.ai Begins Mass Production and Road Testing of Multiple Gen-7 Robotaxi Models 🚗 We are thrilled to share that our seventh-generation Robotaxi recently entered mass production for multiple models and began road testing. This milestone brings Pony.ai significantly closer to its goal of expanding its fleet to 1,000 vehicles by the end of 2025, laying a strong foundation for future large-scale commercial deployment. After unveiling its Gen-7 autonomous driving system at the Shanghai Auto Show in April, Pony.ai commenced mass production of the Guangzhou Automobile Group (“GAC”) and Beijing Automotive Industry Corporation (“BAIC”) Gen-7 Robotaxi models in June and July, respectively. The seamless integration of Pony.ai’s leading autonomous driving technology into both GAC and BAIC vehicles highlights the strength of these partnerships, while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety throughout component sourcing, pre-installation, and final assembly. Shortly after mass production, Pony.ai also began road testing in Guangzhou and Shenzhen. These achievements demonstrate the operational synergies, marking a critical transition from laboratory and closed-track validation to real-world traffic environments. The Gen-7 autonomous driving system delivers three major advancements: it is the world’s first to utilize 100% automotive-grade components, achieve a 70% reduction in bill-of-materials (“BOM”) costs for the autonomous driving kit (“ADK”) compared to the previous generation, and feature an enhanced platform-based design that enables rapid adaptation across multiple vehicle models. Marking 2025 as the “year of mass production,” we are on track to build a fleet of more than 1,000 vehicles by year-end — paving the way for scalable growth and substantial commercial opportunities. #Robotaxi #AutonomousDriving #MassProduction #SmartMobility #FutureTransportation #AIOnTheRoad

Pony.ai Starts On-Road Testing in Luxembourg, Accelerating Robotaxi Advancement in Europe Pony.ai, the global leader in autonomous driving technology, has initiated road testing of its robotaxis in Luxembourg. This milestone marks a significant step in deploying its Level 4 (L4) autonomous driving technology in global markets. Pony.ai is collaborating with Emile Weber, Luxembourg’s premier mobility solutions provider, to deploy multiple electric autonomous vehicles in Luxembourg. Initial testing commenced in the commune of Lenningen, with additional areas to be rolled out by Emile Weber and Pony.ai. Earlier this week, Luxembourg Ministers Lex Delles and Yuriko Backes joined Pony.ai for a ride in Canach of Lenningen, and a presentation of our early progress. Emile Weber is one of Luxembourg’s leading providers of mobility solutions and combines quality service with an innovative and responsible spirit, with main areas of activity including public and private transport, taxi services, the rental of various vehicles without drivers (camper vans, vans, commercial vehicles, etc.), and tourism with travel agencies and tour operators. Pony.ai co-founder and CEO, Dr. James Peng said: “Our testing in Luxembourg marks the beginning of an exciting chapter for collaboration, innovation, and the advancement of autonomous mobility in both Luxembourg and Europe. We're excited to deepen our collaboration with Emile Weber and look forward to expanding autonomous mobility across Luxembourg in the months ahead.” Pony.ai announced in early April that it obtained a scientific testing permit for L4 autonomous driving from Luxembourg's Ministry of Mobility and Public Works. This permit follows the company's establishment of Luxembourg as its European hub for research, development, and deployment. Pony.ai has amassed over 45 million kilometers in global autonomous test mileage, and has established an operational network spanning more than 2,000 square kilometers across four first-tier cities in China. Its robotaxi services cover high-complexity scenarios such as high-speed rail stations, airports, and densely populated urban commercial areas. Building on extensive operational experience in China, Pony.ai is steadily increasing its global footprint leveraging its partners' commercial and regulatory know-how while seeking ecosystem synergies. The company established strategic partnership with global ride-hailing giant Uber in May. The first service launch is expected in a key market in Middle East before scaling deployments to additional international markets. It also entered a MoU with Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority to deploy Robotaxis in the region. In Asia, Pony.ai is looking to introduce robotaxis in Singapore by starting trials in collaboration with ComfortDelGro, a leading multi-modal transport operator. During the first quarter, Pony.ai started road testing in Seoul’s Gangnam district, South Korea.
