Excellent O'Reilly Radar piece on AI agents and APIs, absolutely worth reading. She makes a good case for why you should care about AI agents. We all use APIs! But as Louise C. points out, while APIs aren't going away, they're definitely evolving in the AI-enabled world. If we want AI agents to truly leverage what we build, our APIs need to become machine-consumable, self-describing, and semantically rich.
