Won a hackathon!!! 😎🏆 Was casually going to campus when my friend told me they were going for a hackathon — “Are you joining?” Registration fee was ₹500. I mind-gamed some quick estimations and felt it’s worth it — so I said yes. The hackathon was at LEAD College, Palakkad, with participants from all over Kerala and Tamil Nadu (because it’s on the border). It was a solo hackathon, and the domain I chose was Robotics + IoT. The challenge: Identify and solve a problem in agriculture using IoT/robotics — and pitch it. And what’s the surprising part? I actually won the hackathon and bagged the ₹10K prize money Turns out… my mind-estimation was right. Totally worth it. 😌 Enjoyed the food, the stay, the ambience — and yep, the prize money too.
