For 30 years, Lee Corso has brought joy, surprise and tradition - not to mention headgear - to our fall mornings on College Gameday. 🏈 At the 2025 ESPYS, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and Pat McAfee honored the broadcast legend with a moving tribute — capped by a surprise performance from the USC marching band. A legendary night for a true icon. 👏

President, Major Events Integration, The Walt Disney Company

What an incredible night at the #ESPYS in Los Angeles with members of our Major Events Integration team! It was great to connect with our talented partners at ESPN as we work together on all the ways we can collaborate, activate, and amplify Super Bowl LXI and some of the other iconic sporting events coming to California and the U.S. over the next few years. Building stronger collaboration between our cross-company teams is key to achieving that alchemistic success that only The Walt Disney Company can deliver. More to come!

Last year, Alicia Szeto, production assistant in the ESPN NEXT program, was looking for the next step in her professional career. This drive for development led her to attend AAJA, where she went to panels and sessions and eventually connected with an ESPN recruiter. Now, after a year with ESPN, she says she hasn’t just shaped sports stories - they’ve shaped her too. We asked her about her own story and what she would share with those attending the conference this year. http://di.sn/60454CbbR

Budden, known for her work across college football, basketball, and baseball, continues to expand her Grand Slam tennis resume. Darlington, an Emmy-winning NFL journalist, adds Wimbledon to a growing list of cross-sport assignments. Catch their first impressions from the All England Club: http://di.sn/60414a0Lz

#NAHJ2025 starts today in Chicago! Manny de la Fe, VP, Production ESPN Global Event & Studio Production and executive sponsor for this year's conference, is looking forward to the next few days of connection. "I decided to be an Executive Champion this year because of the importance of representing ESPN and talking to possible candidates about our company, and my experience is something I truly enjoy and makes me proud of the work that we do. I recognize the value of my voice, and this is an opportunity to encourage others to use their voice and talents to progress in this industry. My advice to those attending the conference is don’t be shy, ask questions, be engaged in sessions, make authentic connections and then follow up on those connections. The conference is a great place to seek advice from industry leaders and keep up that contact beyond the conference." If you're at the conference, don't miss connecting with us at booth #300 or the ESPN-sponsored panels!
