Tomoko Mikami is the President of Google Cloud Japan. In this pivotal role, she is responsible for driving the local go-to-market strategy and operations for both Google Cloud, and working with the company’s enterprise and digital native customers, valued partners, and vibrant developer ecosystem as they build for an AI-first future. She also collaborates with teams across Google in Japan to empower organizations of all sizes to transform their operations using enterprise-grade, AI-powered cloud technology.

Tomoko is a transformative technology leader who built a proven track record of driving growth and innovation throughout her distinguished career in technology. Prior to joining Google Cloud, Tomoko had a distinguished career at Microsoft, where she most recently held the position of Managing Executive Officer for their Enterprise Services Group. There she led the charge in generative AI-powered digital transformation for major enterprise customers. She has a strong record of delivering tremendous growth by building new business categories and significantly scaling the cloud business for small, medium, and corporate customers. Her diverse background includes leadership roles in finance at Microsoft's U.S. headquarters, corporate strategy, and global partnerships.

Tomoko has also contributed to the digital transformation of local communities by serving as an external board member for a regional bank. She holds an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and is based in Tokyo, Japan.
