Blaauwberg Beach Hotel is situated on the beachfront in Bloubergstrand and features air-conditioned rooms with free high-speed WiFi. The view from my room was spectacular. The staff were amazing. I’ve stayed in many hotels around the world but I have to say that the staff at here were amazing. Housekeeping, the reception staff, waiters at the restaurant, the reservation team! I’m not sure how they managed to recruit the right people for every position. The rooms were clean, bed comfortable, breakfast had great choices. The ginger shots were such a great touch.

Located in Sandbaai, only 50 meters away from Schulphoek Bay, Schulphoek Seafront House features an outdoor pool and a garden. The staff we excellent. Extremely helpful.

Garden Route Game Lodge is located near Albertinia, overlooking the Langeberg Mountain Range. It is surrounded by lush vegetation and various animals can often be seen. When you arrive, you get greeted immediately, and staff would help you with your luggage to the room. The rooms are all beautiful, and the drives are fantastic. I was very happy about how mindful our guide (Cathy) was towards the animals (If there were other cars near a certain animal, we would try to come back later. She kept good distances), and how knowledgeable she is. She tried to really find all the animals (except leopard, as they would be exceptional to find). I would really recommend staying 2 nights, so you have enough game drives to also go and see the giraffes (they live further away in the reserve). The dinner is fantastic, the breakfast is fantastic, and the morning coffee with a view of the elephants really ties everything together (they also live in the big reserve, but tend to come into view in the morning). The staff is all really nice, and the spa treatments are not too expensive.

Situated in the heart of Cape Town, Taj Cape Town is within walking distance of many tourist attractions and businesses. We had an amazing time at the Taj on our Honeymoon! Generously welcomed to champagne and sweets in the room. The food at Bombay Brasserie was immaculate and memorable! The room was beautiful with great views. Breakfast had a great variety! Definitely recommend a stay!

Nestled at the eastern head of Knysna, this luxurious, pet-friendly hotel boasts a championship golf course, a restaurant and a spa. Free WiFi is provided. Perfect all around, we intended on using the property as a base but ended up spending all our time there! It was a real shame when we left

Situated at the Sea Point Promenade facing the Atlantic coastline, The Winchester Hotel features a pool and an Italian-style courtyard surrounded by palm trees and fountains. I loved everything about this hotel. The location is perfect, a short drive from the V&A and centre of CT, sea-facing in Seapoint with the full mountain backdrop. Seapoint is really nice with lots of shops, restaurants and bars in walking distance and relatively safe (for SA). The hotel itself is gorgeous. It has a beautiful courtyard with red, purple and green Bougainvillea lining the whitewash walls. The hotel food is exceptional too. I love my food and every meal was above average. The room was spacious and had a lovely extension where my girlfriend could get ready. The bathroom was spacious and shower was very big too. To top it off, the staff were super friendly and super helpful. We spoke to them on a daily basis for help booking trips and restaurants and they went above and beyond to assist.
