Set in long, beautiful National Trust gardens, this historic Italianate mansion combines exquisite Edwardian elegance with modern luxury, fine cuisine and faultless hospitality. Cliveden is stunning- like a mini Blenheim Palace! This was my “ Duchess moment “. Better than expected. Staff were excellent and eager to assist. Breakfast was superb and the dining was a very enjoyable experience. The French Room is stunning. The grounds are unbelievable! Great place to go walking with fantastic rural and river views.

We arrived very early from the airport but the staff at the front desk were very accommodating and helpful and did not mind. I was also very thankful as the receptionist let me use the spa facilities to shower and change after a long haul flight which was very needed. The hotels location is lovely on the water and the facilities were excellent.

New luxury Crowne Plaza Reading, provides a stylish, contemporary look and feel to suit the business traveller, leisure and spa guest. The stay at this hotel was really great. We liked everything. We were given a free upgrade to the Pavillion, room was spotlessly clean, tidy and well equipped. Nespresso coffee, bottled drinks (gratis) in mini bar, hair drier, room safe. Gardens stunning. Great walks from the hotel - we walked to Dorney lakes and back.
