Cliveden is 45 minutes west of London by car and just 20 minutes from London Heathrow Airport. The chalk cliffs provide panoramic views over the countryside and an idyllic bend in the River Thames. Cliveden is stunning- like a mini Blenheim Palace! This was my “ Duchess moment “. Better than expected. Staff were excellent and eager to assist. Breakfast was superb and the dining was a very enjoyable experience. The French Room is stunning. The grounds are unbelievable! Great place to go walking with fantastic rural and river views.

We arrived very early from the airport but the staff at the front desk were very accommodating and helpful and did not mind. I was also very thankful as the receptionist let me use the spa facilities to shower and change after a long haul flight which was very needed. The hotels location is lovely on the water and the facilities were excellent.

Could not ask for more in location, cleanliness, comfort, decor and communication. This is an 11/10!

The staff were excellent and took the time to make sure everything was perfect. The room while small was comfortable . The views were just so relaxing . The choice of drinks in the mini fridge were a nice touch. Reception staff were on point , familiar with the area and very informative . Whilst we were only there for one night (visiting a local Restaurant,) the care and attention we received from arrival to departure was memorable. We will be back.
