Situated 200 metres from Aharen Beach, 400 metres from Hijuishi Beach and 2 km from Tokashiku Beach, kamekamehouse offers accommodation set in Tokashiki. They picked me up and dropped me off at the Tokashiki port. They let me check in really early at 10 am and check out late at 2:30 pm, which was when my ferry rides from/to Naha were scheduled for. They served really delicious Japanese meals for breakfast and dinner. It's also so close to the Aharen beach, just 2 minutes walking away. I will definitely consider returning in the future.

Situated in Onna, 400 metres from Nakama Beach, Umino Ryotei Okinawa Nakamasou provides accommodation with a sauna and a public bath. Lovely breakfast, a wide selection of food. They also had this great pancake maker! We loved it.

Offering a garden and garden view, 435 is set in Ishigaki Island, 4.5 km from Rhizophoraceae Plant Community of Fukidogawa River and 11 km from Sangosho no Umi Kara. We have traveled the world and stayed in many Airbnbs over the years, and out of all of them, this one is our favorite. The room fits the island relaxed feeling and has a unique style, with everything that is needed. The separate bathroom and kitchen is convenient as well. The shining gem of our entire stay was Shizuka, who explained many things we could do on the island, gave advice, showed us her cute goat, and even surprised us with some very tasty snacks!!! She is really fun to talk to. We hope to visit this wonderful place again someday!

Set in Ishigaki Island in the Ishigaki Region, 200 metres from Kabira Bay, Joya features a sun terrace. Free private parking is available on site. The kindness and the friendliness of the staff. The breakfast was different and delicious every morning. We got lots of useful tips from the owner and they have everything you need from snorkel gear to sun cream. We really really enjoyed it! We will go back for sure after winning another fortune in macao ;)

Featuring a garden, terrace and views of quiet street, Minshuku Irayoi is located in Ishigaki Island, 80 metres from Shiraho Beach. Simple guest house in a quiet village, just steps from a beach with gorgeous sunrises. The friendly English-speaking host provided everything I needed for my first two days on Ishigaki. I loved the carefully prepared meals (even the miso soup was different all four times!)

Just a minute's walk from Fusaki Beach, FUSAKI BEACH RESORT HOTEL & VILLAS features pools, 4 restaurants and aroma healing spa treatments. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. This place was incredible. So much to do and see, and memories made that will last a lifetime. They did a great job of encapsulating the nature of Ishigaki Island. Really nice area for beach walks and out of the city enough to just chill for a while. I had a great time.

Located in Nakijin and only 400 metres from Teenu Beach, Shiawaseninaru Kourijima no Yado provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Amazing little independent accommodation near heart rock beach. Cute room with bathroom, in a quiet location. Best if you have a car as it is quite isolated, although the local bus stops right at the front
