Kominka neri（古民家煉り） is situated in Miyawaka, 12 km from Azenomachi Ehon Museum, 13 km from Ino Tensho Kotai Jingu Shrine, as well as 14 km from Hisasue Park. Lovely cabin with very friendly staff. Pickup service offered from Sasaguri Station was very convenient and appreciated as the location is a bit out of the way. The beds were very comfortable and the in-suite onsen was so lovely (although very very hot at first but you can add cold water - give it 5 to 10 minutes depending on your heat tolerance).

Offering a garden and garden view, Akitsuki Kominka Yado You is located in Asakura, 14 km from Hiroshiki Oda Museum of Art and 19 km from Ankokuji Temple. It is a good experience staying in the traditional Japanese room. Great chart with the host in Chinese.

Wakariki Ryokan enjoys a location in Yanagawa, just 20 km from Yoshinogari Historical Park and 32 km from Hirayama Hot Spring. Excellent small ryokan next to one of the punting stations. Room was huge and had a view to garden and canal. Excellent dinner and breakfast. We noted that Yanagawa could have been a better place to visit Yoshinogari and Dazaifu than our next stay in Fukuoka - Yanagawa has excellent fast direct train to Dazaifu. Next time would stay more than 1 night in this Ryokan

Located in Chikushino, 500 metres from Buso-ji Temple, Daimaru Besso has a number of amenities including a bar and free WiFi. This hotel is a historic establishment that has been around for decades. However, it has been well-maintained and preserved, making it a worthwhile place to visit.

Dainichiya-ryokan, a property with a garden, is situated in Sasaguri, 600 metres from Yamate Kannondo Temple, less than 1 km from Sanno Yakushido Temple, as well as a 10-minute walk from Shuzen-ji... I was with friends and we wanted an authentic experience in a Ryokan and Temple. We were really pleased with our stay. We love the friendliness of the staff, who always accomodated our request with a friendly smile. They even brought us by the shuttle to Nanzoin temple for such a cheap price. The Kaiseki dinner was superb with organic vegetables and fresh seafood! Our room was huge even if we were 4 people in the room. I would highly recommend this place for couples or groups, who want a peaceful and relaxing experience away from everyday life.

Beautifully presented kaiseki meals. Great to have an elevator for luggage. Fun and generous happy hour.

Private, quiet, and clean. We stayed in house F and we loved everything. The staffs were kind and the dinner and breakfast were delicious

Craft Inn Te, a property with a garden, is situated in Yame, 24 km from Yoshinogari Historical Park, 28 km from Hirayama Hot Spring, as well as 39 km from Kanzeon-ji Temple. Very beautifully and thoughtfully designed. Katie, who was the receptionist when we stayed there was very kind and helpful. It’s located in a small town, filled with kind people, as well as delicious food and tea. Really enjoyed our stay and we were inspired a lot by the craft.
