The bed was not comfy at all, the corridors are extremely narrow and it is very uncomfortable to go up with suitcases to the upper floors. The curtains in my room looked a bit dirty.

The staff was kind and helpful , the location is great as you can move to all the attractions in the city easily. it is near to the central station.

The room had mold, not super clean. You have to consider this is a shared bathroom for all rooms at your floor. We tried not to use it, not that clean either, it was quite small.

Staff is nice, friendly and willing to help. Breakfast was ok.

All the doors slam when closed, so when people enter your level you’ll hear banging. Breakfast stopped before the time they said so it was useless.

Strange smell inside a room. It's pretty loud up to 2 o'clock.

Perfect location for people that want to spend a night in Red lights district. The hotel is located by one of the two main Red lights streets.

Breakfast not available til 8.30 which meant although paid for on 2 mornings we had to leave hotel before then and therefore not had. This was not stated on web site on booking. Not clear why a cold breakfast could not be available earlier. Ususally hotels would serve breakfast from 7/ 6.30. If realised may have chosen different hotel

Stairs are quite narrow and hard to go up with suitcase.

Great location, close to everything. Room was bigger than expected. Shower and bathroom was always clean and we didn’t even need to wait to go in. I really enjoyed my stay at this Hotel. I would really recommend, if you don’t search for luxury hotel. P.S it wasn’t even so loud at night

Lovely helpful bar/reception staff. Very friendly. The room was as expected for the price we paid. Outdated and in need of freshening up but it did what we needed it to. The shower room and toilet were very clean! Ideal location and central to everything. Breakfast was good! Didn’t expect it to be as good as it was for the price to be honest. Pleasantly surprised. Mainly continental with boiled or scrambled egg and toast with a selection of meat. We would definitely stay here again.

It was so much fun to stay in the heart of Amsterdam in one of its authentic buildings. Easy reach to everything in Amsterdam and Keukenhoff. Stuff excellent. Tasty breakfast. Toilets and showers were always clean.

Of course the price is totally overpaid compare to other European capitals for what you get. But that's just how it is. Nothing to do with Hotel Torenzicht, this is just the huge demand setting the high price in Amsterdam. But the again also a very very cool city with relaxed people if you stay away from the stupid yelling turists 😅 Also I was very worried about the mentioned bedbugs, this hotel had the least mentioning in reviews compared to other similar hotels, and I can safely say they were not present in my room. 👍

Staff seemed annoyed at our presence and breakfast was pretty bad but still worth it if on a budget.

Great location, small but alright accommodation with perfectly usable toilets and showers. Nice bar downstairs which becomes lively on the weekend. :)
