How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

the cleanness as usually we bring our own fitted sheets and when trying to change them underneath the mattress was not clean at all, which by the way is the case in most of the hotels everywhere we travelled. Otherwise everything was perfect.
We liked the hotel so much as it was overall comfortable and clean, its toilets were clean and equipped, we loved the location, which was second to none, the staff are so friendly and would go out of their way to help, they even lend us a stroller for our 6 years old daughter. I would highly recommend this hotel over any other in Copenhagen.

The water pressure in the shower was pretty low, but thats nitpicking
general location and friendly staff, prices were good. and the breakfast was above the average hotel quality, it has nice variety, good bread, great tasting fruits, definitely on the better side of any place i have stayed in the last couple of years. the beds are nice and comfy, not to hard, not to soft.

The unfolded sofa-bed for the third person almost touched the table, so there was not enough room to move around. The conditioner container in the bathroom was empty. Room ventilation was insufficient.
Excellent location within walking distance of the train station and many tourist attractions. Good breakfast. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful.

We were three ladies in a room, and although a room designed for three typically incurs a higher nightly cost, we were charged the same rate as for two occupants. Adding a sofa in a room meant for two further reduced the space, making the additional charge seem unjustified given that the overall room size remained unchanged.
The location is great to all attractions and the metro so moving around was great.

We had a room for 3 people (adults). The “bed” for the third person was very uncomfortable and a large man would not have fit into it. There was mold in the bathroom and it smelled not very fresh.
Location is great. You can reach almost everything by foot. Staff was really polite.

Not really, although the triple room can be slightly larger.
Its location is next the the Square facing the Town Hall and is within walking distance to the Tivoli Gardens in central Copenhagen.

It can be a bit loud in the evening next to the square, but nothing too annoying or disturbing.
The room was very comfortable, nice size, good bed and I was lucky to have a view of the square. The staff was very kind and helpful. WiFi connection was good and the location is very good to walk to the main tourist attractions as well as the train station.

Our room was a little small to fit two large suitcases when open. I chose the room so it is not the Squares fault! It is on a busy road. Seem to be lots of sirens & street sweeper trucks.

The location was amazing! Central fir exploring the whole city on foot. Lots of restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Very close to the train station. Added benefit of having a 7/11 and a coffee shop under the hotel.

I didn't like the small square pillows. The room was too big! The TV didn't work for 2 nights although staff organised a person to look at it during the day. Any extras such as breakfast and room service had to be booked by 10 the night before.
Excellent location. Excellent breakfast. Excellent staff at reception.
