Noisy construction right behind the window.

There was a water bottle in the room which was labelled "For your refreshment". Only after I had opened it I saw a sign at the back of the bottle declaring they would charge 4 euros for it! There were building works in front of my window which I could not open despite an exceptional heatwave.

Double bed was a bit narrow

Location - near the Brandenburg Gate. The area was quiet over the weekend. Friendly personnel. Tasty breakfast.

I booked a Deluxe room but received a Standard one, based on the comments from other guests it seems to be a common issue. It looks like this big Deluxe room from the pictures simply does not exist. The building is under renovation with the whole facade and windows taped, I wish it had been communicated in advance

I think, the furniture in the room need to be upgraded, as it feels very old (especially carpet, chairs). The shower was leaking through the glass doors from below.

The location is good, feels quiet, transport is nearby, not far from the main attractions (you can even walk there).

Pillow cover had stains but overall the room seemed clean. Outside construction blocked the window and made the room very dark at all hours

There were so many hairs on the bed! Housekeeper should use another way to deal with her hairs. Not pleasant at all. Also the room was quite cold.

No free amenities like tea, coffee or water. There was a bottle of water with clearly on it 4 euro if you open it. Heating in the room first day was cold, other days way too hot. There were construction works and all staff did was a sign to say sorry for possible inconvenience...it started 8 a.m. and on Monday even earlier! The pillows were terrible. Bed too hard and noisy. Rooms/furniture were old fashioned not as expected from the pictures. When we arrived there was a lady who was checking out because she was unsatisfied

Huge renovation going on, not informed when booking nor before arriva. It came as a bad surprise and make the place unconfortable and unpleasant. Rooms have a very dirty/old carpet. Not a good value for money during works.

Price in line with practices during special events, slightly below theoretical similar offers. Room size is good.

Bathroom was small. No kettle or good shampoo/conditioner.

The staff were lovely and we had a great time riding the good quality hire bikes from the hotel. Staff were able to recommend places to dine nearby and activities.

There is currently a lot of construction / renovation work ongoing. The rooms window faced the scaffolding which brought in a lot of dust, causing us to sneeze. We also heard a lot of people sneezing in adjacent rooms. The rooms lacked ventilation as 3 of 4 windows in our room were sealed shut.

Close to the city center - walkable distance Staff were helpful and reception was open 24x7

It was very hot and the air conditioner was very bad. The window couldn’t be kept open at night because of racks right next to it. The neighbourhood wasn’t that good. Parking space was a bit far from the hotel.

There is construction work taking place at the hotel, which in itself isnt a major issue, however we were rudely awakened before 8am with workmen on scaffolding right outside our window, banging away at the wall. With all the debris flying around it meant we had to keep the window closed. It was only a problem on one of the mornings as our stay was mainly over a weekend and thankfully the workmen didnt appear on Sat or Sun. We feel that the reception staff could have informed us of the disruption in advance and we would have been prepared for all the noise.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, swift check in & out and they allowed us to store our luggage on the last day. There is a bus stop along the street which is ideal for linking up with the Central Station and then onto the airport. There is also a train station 10 mins away which was useful for visiting the major attractions. We used the supermarket 5 min walk away as it had an excellent bakery and deli, with seats outside to enjoy breakfast.

Please replace light bulbs of the ceiling light fixture. One has to walk across the room in darkness to turn on the standing lamp.
