We used the bus, but it doesn't run on Sundays. No local place to rent a bike, so we had to pickup and drop-off in town. Just something to plan for.

Simple but very nice. We were pleased with the cleanliness of the room, and the owner was very pleasant. Very close to Black Rock, quite a few restaurants nearby. The bus stop is right there at the front of the property.

Air conditioning wasn’t functional at all and the ceiling fan would only run on the fastest speed and was very noisy.

Very basic, had a fan but no cooking facilities. Could have upgraded but for two nights and already costly. Annoying, buses don't run late enabling taxis and rental firms.

Right on the beach and v close to town and airport. $20 taxi.

Maybe a prune of the fronds on some trees to improve our view.

Had a view of the beach from our large balcony. Also a good size clothes line at one end of balcony which was extremely handy. Good size room with a nice couch. Was pleasantly surprised at the amount and variety of fish when snorkeling as have been in this area some years ago with much fewer present then. When it rained for a few days they provided more mats to help with wet tiles.

We had a room with a door to the adjoining room, though it was locked but we can hear the noise on the other side. Also sometimes the hot water in the shower runs out.

It was just a few steps from the beach. Most of the time no one is there so we had the beach to ourselves. I enjoyed lounging under the coconut trees reading my book and admiring the beautiful scenery. Blackrock which is a tourist site is also not far, just a 5 min walk along the sand. You also enjoy the beautiful sunset as it is on the western side of the island. There is a bus stop at the end of the driveway and if you need food, both the dairy and a bakery are within walking distance. Our flight arrived late at night and no one is at reception when we got to the motel but our name is already on the door with the room number so we just let ourselves in as the key is inside, that’s how trusting they are. The staff was also nice and helpful. The balcony overlooks the garden and we loved having breakfast outside while looking at the beach thru the coconut trees. If you hang your washing out in the balcony at night, it’s almost always dry in the morning.

Reef Motel is situated beach front and the beach was lovely and swimming there was great too. There were plenty of loungers to relax on under palm trees or in sun. We could also watch the Whales passing the coral reef afew hundred metres out. The Motel was very spacious and the rooms and grounds well maintained. Very clean. Nice linen and towels. Also walking distance to shops and restaurants and bus stop.
