Some of the staff in the dining area need to learn to smile and greet gusts with a friendly hello or kia Orana.

Our family Bungalow was perfect with plenty of room for 3 adults and a 2 year old. We loved the outside shower. Rooms cleaned every day if needed including fresh towels. We also loved the free pick up and drop off from the airport with aunty Nane. A beautiful woman. Staff at front desk were very nice.Have been here 3x and will definitely return.

The whole experience was great. We went the Sunday evening sunset bbq and got to speak to the GM a member of the Henry family. Great family run business with exceptional service. We were able to hire a scooter on site, use the bicycles, SUPs and kayaks.

I loved the experience as soon as I arrived. Met with a happy smile, free drink a lei and a free 10min foot soak which was amazing. The room was clean, luxurious, comfy and spacious. I will definitely come back.

Couldn’t fault the property.

We loved everything about Tamanu Beach. The location was incredible, snorkelling from the beach was perfect.All the staff were friendly , welcoming and helpful. One bedroom bungalows we’re very well designed and suited to the beach lifestyle. Beds were very comfortable Food was excellent value for money and plenty of it.Cocktails were very good too. Island nights held at Tamanu were good fun and a definite must. We didn’t want to leave. would definitely stay here again

As the COVID slowdown hopefully continues to wind down, an upgrade to the beach lounge chairs would be good.

Amazing property, huge bungalow, spacious and luxurious. Love how all bungalows have views of the beautiful lagoon. Great pool, and everything is provided that you may need - kayaks, snorkelling etc. The staff were second to none, so accommodating and friendly. Definitely do the Island night if you can, food was to die for, and the dancers majestic.

We stayed on the newer side of the property where the gardens aren’t as well established. Minor observation only.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We experienced beautiful hospitality. Location is outstanding. We had a beach front cabin and the kids (adults) had a garden cabin close by. Waking every morning to such an amazing unhindered view of the turquoise waters, palm trees and white sandy beach from our bed was incredible. We plan on returning.

There were not many loungers near the pool or beach so struggled to get a seat most days. The rooms were not well cleaned during our 5 night stay and sheets were not changed at all.

Beautiful location, units all had a nice lagoon view and place was quiet and peaceful. The pool was lovely to cool down in. Enjoyed the Sunday BBQ and Island nights. Great selection for breakfast and delicious food, and the restaurant staff were very friendly.

Everything thr place was stunning. They catered for my gluten free diet really well, the service was second to none. The snorkling was out of this world and the room 112 was amazing.

Beautiful bures, on a great swimming beach. The pool was a real treat to cool off in and the snorkeling off the beach was fantastic. My bure was amazing, with the biggest bed I have ever slept in. The bathroom and kitchenette/wardrobe warm had everything you could need and were well appointed, and the outdoor shower a bonus. The restaurant was a lovely setting and the food was exceptional. Watch out for the cocktails - delicious but strong!
