Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. NicaraguaShowering in the morning was terrible, as the water temperature kept automatically changing from burning skin hot to freezing cold, no way to control it, so it was a "painful" experience. It was a hazard to say the least. Another issue we had the 2nd night is the lack of parking available due to a festival. My husband drove around town for almost an hour after a day of skiing trying to find a spot, he went around every parking building recommended by the hotel staff. Luckly after all this time, one of the guys at the front desk saw my frustration and he offered to drive around with my husband until finding a space. Suggest that maybe the hotel "reserve" spaces for its checked-in guests beforehand to avoid this from happening. Driving around in a new city for almost an hour after a full day of activities is not a nice way to end a day! Plus, if you are traveling with older people, note that the showers have a really high bathtub which is not that easy to get in.
The building was amazing, especially the room where breakfast was served. The rooms were of good size. Coffee was good. Centrally location, able to walk to the city center in minutes. Great views of the mountains from the family room we chose.

AustraliaSpacious room, facilities are clean and tidy, heating works good, there is a capsule coffee machine, breakfast is good enough for normal travellers. unlike some other hotels which could be noisy at morning when neighbouring guests are packing and moving their luggage, it is very quiet in this hotel room, one of the best sleeps along the whole trip. There is a supermarket nearby and close to Interlaken West. need to walk bit to Interlaken Ost station.

AustraliaThe room did not have a fridge which I’ve never stayed in a hotel without a fridge before. The pillows were too soft for our liking. Breakfast buffet was quite limited and not much on offer and hot food was cold some days we were there.
Room accommodated our family well. Location was good. The view from our balcony was beautiful.

Very well located 5min walking distance from Interlaken West station and 10-15min walking from Interlaken Ost. Near bus station that goes to Ost station. Room was big for European size , bathroom was ok . In general it was just as advertised. More expensive than it should considering the facilities, but that’s what you have for holiday season in such a touristic place with good train connections. Breakfast was good with a good amount of options. Everyone working at the hotel were always helpful and kind.

He took extra miles to bring me to choose the family rooms. I really appreciate it! Everything is good for Hey. If i come to switzerland again, hey will be my first choice.

United StatesI found the hotel room to be too warm for my taste. We were on the 4th floor and although we had a temperature control in our room, there wasn't much to be done to truly make it any cooler. It was especially hot after we had taken our showers and the heat from the bathroom was added to the room. And for whatever reason, hotels in Switzerland do not seem to provide wash cloths.
The Hey Hotel was located perfectly for our stay. It was close to shops, restaurants and the train stations. Our room was spacious and had 2 nice chairs to relax instead of having to sit on the bed. Storage for our clothing was adequate for our stay and there was a full length mirror too. I cannot say enough about the staff at the front desk, WOW. There were 3 gentlemen that we encountered during our stay and they were so helpful with any questions we had about the area and the hotel. Sadly, when checking out, I forgot to grab my souvenir bag. I called as soon as I realized and they are going to mail the items to me! They were fantastic with email communication about the mailing process and as of this morning, they have been mailed to me! Thank you to Laszlo and Adam who have been emailing me about the package!!!
