Boasting a private beach and a large infinity pool, The Danna Langkawi - A Member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World features colonial architecture and elegantly designed units in the west coast of... Breakfast spread was excellent. Beach was good but beach sports /activities were too expensive. Room was large and the sea-view was really great. Special mention should be made of the Head Chef who entertained our requests for certain items (e.g. Roti Jala) and made our breakfast more memorable.

The rooms are spacious, clean and offer an amazing view. The breakfast is simply superb - there is a diverse buffet but also a la carte menu with lots of delicious dishes. Even the pastries and jams are homemade (loved the screwpine and coconut jam). The staff is very friendly, polite, and guests receive a daily newspaper made exclusively for Casa Del Mar as well as daily weather forecast notes. Guests can have dinner directly on the beach and enjoy the fantastic night beach views. We will definitely return to this hidden gem!

Very nice hotel, pool, and breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff who can advise on places to go and places to eat. You can also loan a push bike for a day, or rent a scooter. Both of which are good fun, to explore more the area. The beach is about 15 minutes walk away, with many activities, a bit crowded, but nearby Tengah beach is nicer. The Thursday night market is nearby and has some excellent local food. The breakfast is very good, lots of choices including omlette, scrambled eggs, very nice samosa, fruit, bread and coffee. I would strongly recommend this hotel.
