We really loved the extra things that made the stay so enjoyable. For example, they had s’mores at night, but I could still be in an air-conditioned room at night. Also, the breakfast was nice and there was an ice machine and water bottle filler next to each other on the first floor. Great location for getting to the park.

the location was nice, the room very small, but comfortable.

the location was nice, the room very small, but comfortable. I did not like the fact that when you list the hotel you make appear as that parking is part of the reservation and it is not. I had to pay for parking, and it was very expensive.

Acadia National Park is a beautiful, pristine place to visit. There are hiking trails for all abilities. Driving to the top if Cadillac Mountain is a must do. In the village at Bar Harbor, there is plenty of shopping, lots of bars, restaurants, lovely parks, and a beautiful shore walk. Many activities are offered, including kayaking, cycling, whale watching, schooner sunset sails, and more.

This is our favorite spot to vacation; I've been coming here as a kid and my husband and I spent part of our honeymoon there - that was 30 years ago. We've since taken our kids there and they fell in love with Old Orchard Beach as well.

Many places to visit so don't just hang around the boardwalk. Lots going on and plenty things to do. I can't say much about the night life as I didn't go out, but wished I did. Spread your wings and explore. Lots to see. Portland overall was enjoyable and being able to see the ocean and everything really made my day. Lobster everywhere, but lobster rolls are different from every restaurant. I love the Cousins Connecticut roll the most. There's no way you couldn't enjoy Portland. One scratched off the bucket list and will visit again during the summer months.

    I love Ogunquit/ Wells area.

I love Ogunquit/ Wells area. Have been traveling here since I was a kid. Now I take my kids. Just a lovely area to experience the seaside. It's what you would picture the perfect New England seaside escape. We always stop at Yummies in Kittery to get our fill of candy for the trip. We decided to try Angelina's which in all the times I have gone to this area it was never on the agenda. Amazing food! The dessert list was long. Try the Tartufo!. Some other notable favorites include Footbridge Beach. We bring floats and float on the river part and search for crabs and shells! A trolley ride to Perkins Cove to walk the Marginal Way. There are so many food places you cannot really go wrong. Definitely peruse downtown Ogunquit! Parking near the fire station is a good bet.

Good location to visit on day trips to Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard, Provincetown, Newport, and of course Hyannis. Spent a week and got a feel for cape cod. Ate Italian, Irish and went to a tavern. Shops on Main Street were lovely. Easy access to ferries. Peaceful.

this inn cost less than $200/night with tax - a fantastic price which allowed us to spend more on meals, the parking was free, and it's only ~2-3 blocks from the Davis subway station, with Pemberton Market across the street for meals. hopefully they will update their mattresses soon as ours was uncomfortable but we were able to sleep.

Bangor and the surrounding areas has so much to offer.

Bangor and the surrounding areas has so much to offer. Five minutes from the hotel you have several food locations to choose from which is always nice. Stephen King's house is only about 10 minutes away from there. We also took a drive into Bar Harbor for a Lobster/Seal cruise which was very interesting. That town is very nice with plenty of restaurants and things to do. We also took a day trip to Acadia National Park (which is the same way toward Bar Habor) and that is a MUST see . Beautiful, leave plenty of time in your day to explore and definitely schedule online ($6.00) for the Cadillac Mountain Summit Loop, it's the highest point of the Eastern Seaboard. This fee is separate than the entrance fee from the park pass. It's on a time frame so you must purchase online they can't even do this for you at their Visitor Center. The $6.00 fee is not per person but, per vehicle. So many other neat things to see and do. So much that we will be making a second trip back up.

    Hampton Beach is fun.

Hampton Beach is fun. Small walkable boardwalk, good food, nice beach. Short drive to Kittery Maine Outlets. Water is cold, but it’s relaxing to listen to the waves. Seaketch Seafood Restaurant on the boardwalk is excellent, great food!!

    The town is great.

The town is great. We enjoy Christ Episcopal church and Father Skippy. The town shops are a great variety and walk able. I liked that there was a restaurant where we stayed as well as a breakfast trailer. We took a short train ride that wasn't scenic so I was disappointed. We did take a van ride to the top of Mt. Washington. That was worth the time and cost. We learned a lot from the van driver. Wonderful experience. No matter which way you look or drive, the scenery is outstanding!
