To get to the hotel, you have to go through the cafe and through the back. You wouldn't know that there was a hotel entrance out back just by being in the cafe. The hotel was very clean and the owners were extremely friendly. Your key card works at the cafe entrance as well when they are closed (11pm to 11am). My wife and I plan on staying here for one more night before leaving Koh Samui. Fisherman's Village is a really nice area to stay in Koh Samui and this hotel was in a very central location.

There is one word for this place : Exceptional!!! Great host with a great team!! This hotel is just amazing! Starting with the top notch staff and the hotel manager Tew, always smiling & so helpful with everything you need. My husband had a birthday and they went above and beyond to make it special. The pool overlooking the beach is just heaven. So well maintained & clean, as well as the amazing comfortable room with amazing views of the ocean. Comfortable big bed, big bath on the veranda with flowery salts to put in the bath - everything is just thought out so well. Boxing bag in the room - so fun. As well as the Muay Thai class that they give for free - so fun! Breakfast is big, lots of choices and fresh salad and good coffee. Get a scooter so you can get around, it’s around 5 min drive to center of Lamai with all restaurants, bars, markets, but there are also restaurants nearby walking distance. Thank you Thai fight hotel, we’ll be back for sure.

Palm Trees and Pristine Seas

One of Thailand’s most famous islands, Koh Samui (or Ko Samui) is a tropical paradise whose palm trees emerge from the pristine white sands at unbelievable angles, and whose offshore reefs make for great diving.

The most developed resort is Chaweng, though most bars and clubs are set back from the beautiful beach, so the views are still wonderful. Slightly less lively is Lamai, though its beach is no less impressive. Both of these resorts are home to a large number of Koh Samui hotels with private pools, a popular requirement of many visitors, despite the wonderfully warm waters.

Lipa Noi in the west faces Thailand’s east coast and has some beautiful sunsets, while the northern fishing village of Bo Phut is gaining in popularity. Nearby Mae Nam and Cheong Mon both have sweeping beaches that gently shelve into the sea, making them popular family choices.

Travellers don't go tot Koh Samui for its sights – but interesting attractions include the Big Buddha at Bangrak’s Wat Phra Yai temple, and the Wat Khunaram Ko Samui temple inland from Hua Thanon.

The thing I appreciated the most was how the management handled the situation. On every trip and in every place, unexpected situations or little stories can happen, but what made Silavadee stand out is that they were different. They handled the matter in the best possible way, making sure our trip ended here in the most beautiful way. First of all, the resort itself is beautiful, calm, and charming — the perfect place to enjoy private and special moments. But what truly made it unforgettable was that after a small misunderstanding, the hotel’s management decided to offer us a late check-out and even a complimentary transfer to the airport. Mr. Tristan is truly a treasure for this hotel. A big thank you as well to every member of the wonderful staff — during our two days here, we saw nothing but warm smiles from all of them. And honestly, if you visit Koh Samui and don’t stay at this hotel, then you haven’t really experienced Koh Samui at all.

It's amazing hotel, not new but in Thai style and we love it a lot! The room is amazing, at night you have the sounds of frogs outside. At the reception you can rent a bike for a few minutes, very comfortable. On the bike 4 minutes drive to the center, 5 minutes drive to the airport. The breakfast is amazing, great quiet private beach. Nice pool. We love it a lot!

The property is stunning, with uninterrupted sea views and a peaceful ambiance that instantly makes you feel at home. The rooms were immaculate, spacious, and beautifully maintained. A special mention to Yanisa and Palm, who were exceptional throughout our stay. Their warm hospitality, attention to detail, and proactive service made everything seamless. Every request was taken care of even before we asked. The food deserves its own praise- the chef’s dishes were remarkable, turning each meal into a five-star dining experience. Love Silver Beach, garden was glorious at Promsuk Suri, but staff rather miserable, no customer care. Couldn’t even offer us a clean towel when changing prior to our flight we had to use a wet sandy towel from the beach!! I guess we were lucky that we had a shower we could use as we had already checked out and had a late flight.

The beach is really calm and easy to swim except the occasional rock u hit ur feet to.. it’s like having a private beach from the property. Would need a scooter to go around but have good number of restaurant supermarkets etc around.

Plenty of good restaurants around especially the Happy...

Plenty of good restaurants around especially the Happy Elephant, as we were celebrating our Golden Wedding Anniversary there, they treated us to a little surprise which was appreciated, the food and sea views were excellent. Bophut is a lovely place to stay especially with couples and family.

The private swimming pool is definitely the highlight of this place! House with three-bedroom villa, and what’s interesting is that every room offers a sea view with a stunning sunset. It’s clean, private, and conveniently located , not far from the beach and popular attractions.

There are only two bungalows facing the beach and they are AMAZING!! We did not want to leave our hotel. Some of the other rooms looked nice too but faced the garden walkway. One bungalow faced a concrete wall. You get what you pay for. Loved this place so much.

Very friendly people and going to a night market is a great experience! Traveling across the island is easy but it may get a bit costly if you have to take a van for 6 or 8 people. Beaches on the east side are nice but busy. Beaches on the west are less crowded but may get narrow and untidy due to the tides. Overall we were missing the very long beaches with plenty of palm trees and powder-soft sand. Worth a visit are higher areas of the island in middle, e.g. Dee's Chilling Hill restaurant. Also going to the Ang Thong Marine park is very nice.

Chaweng Noi Beach was one of my favorite spots on Koh Samui. It’s incredibly beautiful — soft white sand, calm turquoise water, and a peaceful atmosphere that feels like a little escape from the busier parts of the island. I loved how quiet and relaxed it was, perfect for swimming or just lying under the sun. The view with the green hills around was stunning. That said, it’s not the best during low tide — the rocks and coral can make it tricky to get in the water. Also, there’s not much going on nearby in terms of shops or nightlife, and some areas can get a bit pricey because of the luxury resorts. Still, for a calm beach day with amazing views, I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Loved our room! It was very spacious,clean & comfortable. The bed and pillows met our expectations. The pool was huge! Great for children or grown ups. A very ambient,quiet resort set on the beach front. The beach chairs are very comfortable and the best place to chill with a book or take in the amazing views. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is very peaceful and we ordered a taxi or grab to go to dinner in the evening. We had drinks at the Hotel pub one evening. Overall a great stay & value for the rates. The breakfast was sufficient …eggs and fresh fruit/toast/pastries. Handy if you have a motor bike to get around the Island as grab is expensive. .
