The room is spacious and comfortable. The air conditioning works well, and the bed is very comfortable. I received champagne and fruit upon check-in. The hotel and room are very clean and appear to be new. The nearby beach is easy to get to. The view is good and pleasant.

    - This is a must if you are traveling in Portugal. The beaches are stunning, with the cliffside views a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The food is incredible. Everyone is very nice, and it is a good mix of supporting tourists, but feeling like you can truly immerse yourself in the culture. 10/10. Do not miss Pinhao Restaurant and Bar! It is very unassuming but the food is spectacular and the staff is extremely gracious.

    Where i stayed felt very safe .... even when it was late. There are many fantastic restaurants nearby. Did notice that they've removed some of the public seating which is a pity. I was on crutches so those seats were useful.

    Vilamoura was even better than I expected!

    Vilamoura was even better than I expected! The marina was HUGE and had everything, there were beach clubs dotted around further afield from the marina, everywhere was clean, great place for a 'let your hair down' trip but equally a great place for a more chilled one. 19th Hole was good for live music. Thai beach club was amazing for our Hen group.

    The mosaic stone pavements are quite uneven and can be quite slippery. Not suitable for stilettos!!! Small town with a castle (lots of steps) and lots of churches. Great for walking by the riverside. Lovely beaches a ferry ride away on the island. Plenty of tents or umbrellas and loungers yo hire. Saw flamingoes by the salt pans and marshes . Sit on top deck of ferry for best views. Great restaurants with fabulous fish, clams, octopus etc at very reasonable prices.Taxis are not expensive. Definitely worthwhile if it's very hot or you have hills to climb or heavy shopping to carry. Concerts held regularly just beside the old Roman bridge during the summer. Great place for 4 or 5 days if you want to spend plenty of time at your hotel pool and or beaches. We are really well at Ponto de Encontro, and at Zeca da Bica.

    What I liked most was O Gadys Pub. Ana Gourmet Ana Esteves was very helpful. We visted in the 90's it was beautiful small village. This time it looked tired in places. Beautiful board walk at the end of that walk at the harbour a soccer pitch play area it was all over grown and Graffiti on the wall looked awful also at end of the village coming from Alvo golf come to a roundabout grass all overgrown looks very poor for a tourist village. Still a very nice place

    We arrived on the day of the black and white festival!

    We arrived on the day of the black and white festival! We were very tired from travelling but made the effort to get dressed up and go to it and boy! Are we glad we did! Absolutely amazing ! The atmosphere was out of this world and would definitely go again. There were also things on the main stage during the week in the square by the beach - an amazing band on the Thursday night and a brilliant disco on Saturday night! Deffo a place to go to.

    Excellent accommodation,extremely clean . Large bedrooms with very comfortable beds. The kitchen had everything you need & more . Very close to the beach & marina. Minutes away from the local restaurants. Looking forward to returning again .Highly recommended !
