Panama city it is a third world contry city it is so faulty, there is garbage everywhere, there is not sidewalk, everybody, park there's car in the sidewalk. The water front smells like sewer water it looks like they dumped the waste water into the ocean , there is not beaches around Panama city. My recommendation stay away from Panama city Central AmericaGuest review byAlfy - 10.0

The new terminal "C" is spacious clean and definitely not crowded. TSA was efficient and well organized. We were able to get through that in record time with no delays. The food area is well laid out and stocked with a variety of restaurants and stalls. It even has a Gluten Free stand which I have never seen in an airport and truly a great service for those of us that are gluten free.Guest review byJosephineUnited States - 10.0

The island does have a lot of hills so if you plan on walking be in shape or you will be winded. I like exercise so for me it was great, not hard at all. Mar y oro did pick us up from the port with our luggage. You can also rent a golf cart right at the port where ferry lands, There was 3 small shops for buying things, limited supply and expensive (its an island) plan on bringing everything you need.Guest review byBrian - 8.0

Taboga Island is great for a day excursion, if it is sunny, you can go to the beach and hang out. You can get a great pina colada at one of the local spots, or bring a cooler with you. there are quite a few eating places, but you'll have to pay to shower and go the the bathroom. Getting there is usually by the Taboga Ferry, which is a 30 minute ride and a lot of fun. there is only a main road that you can walk on to explore the area but they have golf carts that travel the same road as well. One important thing to note is to bring cash, because there is no ATM on the island.Guest review byJacquelineUnited States - 10.0
The location was great for us. The breakfast was fantastic.
The location was great for us. The breakfast was fantastic. Love that it was All-Inclusive but unfortunately we were not able to take advantage of all the things they offered like the Rainforest tour and karaoke night. The rooms were clean and the size of the room was great for us. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I would stay there again if I'm ever in the area again.Guest review byCherylUnited States - 10.0

If you go over carnival it is not peaceful and it's very loud, but we were there in the week and it was beautiful! They have live giards at the big 'pools' in the river which was great. The beer at Artemia was really refreshing and delicious. We had a meal at a local fonda that was delicious. There is a lot of hiking trails, that are well marked. I would not suggest going when it rains, since the roads are very bad and it will be slippery, I also suggest going with a car that is higher off the ground. We did not see any burds really besides ducks, it was eerily quiet during our stay.Guest review byCharli ErlankPanama - 10.0
it's a good country, it exceeded my expectations.
it's a good country, it exceeded my expectations. A lot of green areas, well maintained, people was nice, and good for doing sports. The weather was not in our favor, but it didn't impede us to still visiting the places we wanted. Definitely a place to come back. I loved the Panama Canal, the history behind it, and the Embera village within the Chagres National Park was so enjoyable. The bad side of the country was the waste management, a lot of places with a lot of garbage that looked awful. But overall, a place that you can fall in love withGuest review byTaniaUnited States - 8.0

We've now flown through Tocumen Airport a couple times on Copa Airlines on our way from the U.S. to David (and on to Boquete and Volcán) and back. We are not fluent Spanish speakers, but most of the signs are in Spanish and English and many of the staff are bilingual, which greatly eased our figuring out where to go to catch our flight. Entry through Immigration and Customs went smoothly and our luggage has arrived undamaged each time (we did use Air Tags just in case). Returning home was equally smooth - baggage check was easy and Security moved everyone along at an agreeable pace. No surprises. There are plenty of shops and restaurants at the airport if you need to grab something to eat. One proviso: We flew Copa Airlines back to the U.S. and they required us to pass through a second Security check at the departure gate. I'm not entirely sure as to the rationale for this, but it went without a hiccup and we boarded and departed on time. So far, our experiences flying through Tocumen have been positive, unlike what we encountered back in the U.S. at Dulles, which I would absolutely recommend avoiding at all costs if possible due to poor and confusing signage and angry and surly TSA agents.Guest review byAnonymous - 6.0
The island is small, and there's not much to do around here.
The island is small, and there's not much to do around here. No bars or places to hang out after sunset. Restaurants and supermarkets close early; by around 7:30 PM, everything was closed, so we couldn't find anywhere to have dinner. However, we ended up eating at Casa Angelina, and the food there was GREAT. The places here didn't really appeal to us based on their appearance; everything seems a bit neglected and abandoned. Despite that, the food is still excellent, although you wouldn't think so at first glance. On the other hand, the beaches were beautiful. I would recommend renting a golf cart to get around the island.Guest review bySaraAndorra - 8.0

A nice getaway from the city, there are relaxing spots and party spots. You can walk the whole island in no time or take a golf cart where you want to go. Overall the island is very dirty though and might not be the right vibe for some. Most of the beaches have trash everywhere and many trash containers overflow. Folks will tell you the trash come from the city but there is plenty generated here on the island. Honda beach seems a bit cleaner but when the tide comes in about 90% of the beach disappears. For a good meal in and a fantastic view visit Villa Capriocha, its costs a bit more bet definately worth it.Guest review byLeonardUnited States
