Beautiful city, full of life. Very welcoming. Safe.
Beautiful city, full of life. Very welcoming. Safe. Many good restaurants, delicious gelato. Breath taking art and history. We ate at La giostra, Trattoria zazz, violin, venchi and many others. Enjoyed San Lorenzo Market and was a good place to buy leather bags and other leather items and scarfs. Getting around Florence is easy, mostly walking.Guest review byAbeerBahrain - 8.0

Obviously the area around the tower is very touristy, but it’s a wonderful city with a lot of young people, fun nightlife and some little gems waiting to be found. Osteria 46 is a must if you can appreciate true Italian home cooking, it’s like sitting down at a family lunch table and being served by someone’s nonna :)Guest review byAnnaBelgium - 10.0
People will go and see Pisa, but whole fun is in Lucca.
People will go and see Pisa, but whole fun is in Lucca. There are hundreds of restaurants, old city is almost whole pedestrian area full of shops, bars and restaurants. There are a number of places to see and of course there is Lucca summer festival worth visiting. Parking is nicely organized. Prices are good.Guest review byMarko RakarCroatia - 10.0

Siena is an absolute gem, with a lovely sense of community and friendly people. There is so much to see and admire, but the Duomo (and especially the new Porta del Cielo) is the star attraction. But avoid Palio time if you don't like crowds!Guest review byHeatherUnited Kingdom - 4.0

Was not impressed with the city and expected more given all the review I read online. My disapointment could be due to the fact I visited in February, so off season. I booked two nights but decided to only stay for one and left early. Even though I booked a room in the central part of the city I did not feel safe walking the streets at night.Guest review byViktoria - 10.0

San Gimignano is a unique gem - a beautifully preserved piece of antiquity. Unfortunately, it is a bit overrun by tour groups during the day, but early morning and from late afternoon onward, it is truly wonderful. It's well worth a longer stay as there are interesting exhibits/museums, absolutely magnificent hikes in the breathtaking countryside, and easy day trips to places like Siena and Colle Val d'Elsa.Guest review byHopkins - 10.0
Viareggio has everything - beautiful sandy beaches lined...
Viareggio has everything - beautiful sandy beaches lined with beach clubs each with their own beach bar and restaurant, a wide promenade, good selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Some bars/restaurants offer an amazing plate of anti-pasto which is complimentary when you buy alcoholic drinks. An excellent Thursday morning market selling everything from clothing to shoes and handbags. Some hotels can be ridiculously expensive so shop around for a good rate.Guest review byPaoloUnited Kingdom - 4.0
Everything was a bit run-down and in need of restoration.
Everything was a bit run-down and in need of restoration. The beaches and restaurants were almost entirely empty of people, so there was a a lack of excitement and "buzz" about the whole area. I might have expected this a month later, but not in September.Guest review byAntony - 10.0
Great hilltop town to visit.
Great hilltop town to visit. Once you know where to park your car, all things seem easy. Very crowded. Many cafes and restaurants options. It’s a good place to go if you like to walk, and hike the steep road.Guest review byBrianUnited States - 10.0

Gorgeous town with lots of little artisan stores and great food and wonderful places to enjoy aperitivo. My only regret was not staying longer to enjoy the monthly Antiques Fair - hundreds of vendors and a fabulous vibe. Thank you Arezzo - you were fabulous!Guest review byJohanna
