We enjoyed going to the Quattro Canti and other places where The Leopard (Netflix) was filmed. My favourite place was the Ballaro Markets which was bustling with locals and tourists. Be sure to take a tour through Teatro Massimo and the Palermo Cathedral, which has an amazing view from the top! Took the tourist train/bus to get around which was convenient.Guest review byCharlesAustralia - 8.0
Catania is a typical Italian city.
Catania is a typical Italian city. Plenty of places to eat, some better than others. There are ruins and many interesting places to see in the city. As with many other Italian cities, there is a bit of trash in the streets and thousands of cigarette butts. (definitely takes away from the appeal of the city)Guest review byDavidUnited States - 10.0
Taormina was a complete slice of heaven.
Taormina was a complete slice of heaven. It really is a beautiful place to be. With over 300 restaurants, you'll never run out of places to eat! We loved I Giardini di Babilonia and Gambero Rosso.Guest review byemmathomas67United Kingdom - 10.0

Siracusa is a beautiful seaside town on the Mediterranean. It is full of history and the little lane ways come alive in the late afternoon where you can find a never ending selection of restaurants and bars.Guest review byIamWillAustralia - 8.0
We have been before.
We have been before. Sadly, Cefalu is becoming very busy now. We've been many times previously and have noticed the increase in tourism. We can't complain. We're tourists ourselves. Lovely shops and restaurants, and lots of history. Still a great place to visit.Guest review byPeterUnited Kingdom - 8.0

I love both beaches and lively city centers at the same time and Trapani can offer that. A perfect cable car trip directly from Trapani to historic Erice. A beautiful sunset and a view of the illuminated Trapani. Interesting places in the vicinity: Segesta and Selinunte archeological parks, the very unusual Nuova Gibellina (plus Cretto di Buri) and bustling Palermo with majestic monuments. There are plenty of great restaurants in Trapani. I can't miss the Meno Tredici gelateria in the harbor and the great arancini at Al Pollero da Roberto.Guest review byMiroslavCzech Republic - 10.0
This beach town has been one of the best we have visited.
This beach town has been one of the best we have visited. It has a very relaxing vibe with lots of bars and good restaurants to choose from. There is lots to do including boat tours and hiking the nature reserve close by. The people were really friendly to us despite being non-Italian, we found that there were a lot more Italian tourists around. It would be best to rent a car to be able to explore areas around like Marsala etc. since there are only limited tour offers. We would highly recommend following restaurants for quality of food, price and service: Allantica Osteria, Bottega Sugameli, Pizza Marghe and Trattoria Du Lantirneri. We also loved the Bakery Laboratorio pasticceria Peralta for cornetto, coffee and granita with a brioche. The best bars were Bik Bak for cocktails and their amazing team, La Casina Enoteca for their great cocktails and vibes and I Giorgini Ristorante Giardino for drinks and live music.Guest review byGatti - 10.0
Agrigento is a very charming town.
Agrigento is a very charming town. It's small, but it's great for a 2-night stop to see the Valley of the Temples, walk around town, see Scala dei Tuchi, and go to the beach (e.g., San Leone). Worth a visit.Guest review byElenaUnited States - 10.0
Beautiful and authentic coastal town.
Beautiful and authentic coastal town. Big sandy main beach with a lot of beach clubs (25 euro for an umbrella and 2 sun beds) and some public beach areas by the marina and then further up the coast. Excellent variety of food and restaurants.Guest review bySantiago - 10.0

You can rent bikes, electric ones if it's too hot. They are available at several locations. The prices are reasonable and you can travel the entire island. The water is clean and it is worth stopping here for a day.Guest review byVesnaSlovenia
