The property was beautiful and immaculately clean. The staff seriously went above and beyond and almost made me feel awkward how much they were helping. They were so sweet and nice. Definitely staying here again next time.

Room was clean and the view was great! I loved the sink in the room. Bed was a bit too soft for me, but comfortable. It was odd sharing a bathroom, but it was just my friend and I in the 2 rooms so it worked out great!! I liked that the shower was separate from the toilet. And having sinks in the rooms made the separate bathroom part much easier. The owner was wonderful and friendly and her cats were adorable. We also really enjoyed our dinner in the restaurant! Excellent food at a reasonable price!

Dinner was exceptional in a very traditional dining room. The owner provided a personal touch that you just don't get any more (he took our order, offered recommendations, and chatted with guests). Full English breakfast was wonderful and a great departure from the standard fare of chain hotels. Highly recommended for those who prefer a unique experience in a historic building with a dedicated staff that has a personal interest in making your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible.

Free parking. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was large with had high end bath products.
