Boasting a garden and a restaurant, Castle Inn is situated in Lydford. Guests can have a drink at the bar. All rooms in the inn are fitted with a flat-screen TV. Outstanding food, some of the best meals we have had in Devon. The Venison was sublime and the steak was just the best steak ever, desserts were just wow! The actual Inn was the cosiest and full of history and mystery! Overall a superb place to eat and sleep, staff were very friendly and very hardworking, A really great place to stay. We're going back again! Thank you!

We stayed New Years Eve. We had booked a room and advised we were vegan. We had the most fantastic meal, so many courses, such great flavours. The chef asked what sort of food we liked in advance and the meal was superb. We will be back. The staff team were attentive and very nice. We felt well looked after.

Very friendly staff, superb location on the edge of the moor. Room was nicely decorated, well equipped and clean. Breakfast excellent and evening meal good pub fare. I like the slightly quirky style of the place - so much better than bigger fancier hotels that are often soulless.

Located in Buckfast, Devon, and nestled inside Dartmoor National Park, The Abbey Inn offers bed and breakfast accommodation, a bar. staff were great, room was clean and comfortable with good amenities with a great view over the river running along side pub, both breakfast and dinner had a good range of choice and were very filling, car parking excellent
