Outstanding food, some of the best meals we have had in Devon. The Venison was sublime and the steak was just the best steak ever, desserts were just wow! The actual Inn was the cosiest and full of history and mystery! Overall a superb place to eat and sleep, staff were very friendly and very hardworking, A really great place to stay. We're going back again! Thank you!

The Dartmoor Inn at Lydford has a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Lydford. The property is around 1.6 km from Lydford Castle, 20 km from Morwellham Quay and 25 km from Cotehele House. We stayed New Years Eve. We had booked a room and advised we were vegan. We had the most fantastic meal, so many courses, such great flavours. The chef asked what sort of food we liked in advance and the meal was superb. We will be back. The staff team were attentive and very nice. We felt well looked after.

Situated within 44 km of Sandy Park Rugby Stadium and 21 km of Castle Drogo, East Dart Inn offers rooms in Yelverton. Very friendly staff, superb location on the edge of the moor. Room was nicely decorated, well equipped and clean. Breakfast excellent and evening meal good pub fare. I like the slightly quirky style of the place - so much better than bigger fancier hotels that are often soulless.

The landlady couldn't be more friendly and welcoming and the food was big portions and lovely, what a great experience. Thank you I will be back.

Location - a pretty village with interesting houses, lanes, bridges, and the lovely sound of the river gently flowing. Wonderful, friendly welcoming staff Delicious fresh tasty food in the restaurant. Very comfortable bed, all the facilities we needed.
