Precisely renovated in 2023, the Academy offers travelers who stay there a unique hotel experience at the heart of the History of Knowledge. Located in the historic district of Old Lyon, a UNESCO World Heritage site, L'Académie offers an ideal location allowing travelers to enjoy direct access to all the tourist activities available to the City of Lyon (museums, monuments, best restaurants and stops…) Designed in a building dating from 1406, this luxury hotel offers 12 rooms and suites in a neat decor inspired by the world of French Academicians who shaped the knowledge of our world. French ceilings, woodwork, solid parquet floors and high-end materials tastefully decorate the rooms and suites of this exceptional establishment. The latter, depending on the category, offer a view of the emblematic cobbled streets of Old Lyon or of a private courtyard. All rooms and suites have private bathrooms. They are air-conditioned, soundproofed and equipped with a TV and free Wi-Fi access. A continental breakfast is served daily for an extra charge. The Academy is also committed to more responsible tourism and is implementing various actions to protect the environment, reduce waste and energy consumption.
