Robert, a former Managing Director in the media industry, spent over 20 years launching and running major commercial radio stations across Ireland. A seasoned broadcaster and travel writer, he has produced award-winning content for national press and radio. Richard brings a wealth of hospitality expertise, having managed four- and five-star hotels for the Hastings Hotel Group, including The Culloden and Slieve Donard. He later worked with the Northern Ireland Tourist Board and Invest NI before becoming Head of Accommodation at Queen’s University, overseeing 3,500 rooms. Between them, Robert and Richard have explored over 100 countries and stayed with some of the world’s leading hotel brands — including Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton, Peninsula, and Burj Al Arab. Their global adventures inspired the warm, elegant hospitality found at Highcliffe House, along with the eclectic art collection lovingly displayed throughout the property.
