Very nice guesthouse near Laxman Jhula but away from the crowds. I really enjoyed staying at Pooja’s homestay. It was clean & room was large, cozy, and I slept very well. Nice kitchen too. It is high up the bit steep hill from downtown, & I enjoyed the walk there to escape the noise & go to town when desired. It felt safe at night too, in a cute local neighborhood. Pooja is sweet and helpful, and it’s a nice independent stay.

Utsav riverbank homestay is situated in Haldwāni. The property has mountain and river views, and is 20 km from Bhimtal Lake. Wow, what a amazing lady. Customer Service is magical. Couldnt ask for a better welcome. Most definitely the only place i will be staying when im around this area. Rooms were clean and good size. I wouldnt think twice about booking this place if you want to be by the river and are looking for great customer service and well priced rooms. Thank you to all at Utsav homestay. There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay.... Very cozy place, with wonderful views of the lake from the balcony area. Will definitely come back whenever I am in Nainital next. Amazing stay, with every small need of the visitor taken care of.
